Would defo recommend for tope certainly mate. If you take the Sib down to Port St Mary and launch there it's not a long steam to get there. Basically imagine you've just come through the sound from Port Erin side with calf and sound roughly same distance either side and keep going in a straight line, and after a little while if you had a sounder you'd see the ground coming up fast beneath then dropping down again as you cross over it. I have marks to line up for it also but can't recall without actually being out there sorry! :D@@TheReelIsle
No problem mate thanks, I've fished the banks before put never for tope - I will give them a go though! They're very clear on the Navionics app - worth downloading if you don't have it mate.
Cheers, yeah I remembered actually they do show on my chart as I got a nice new garmin echomap this summer that included charts. Tight lines anyway and look forward to more content, didn't manage to get any this year to stick on channel as it was mostly working on rebuilding outboard and not actually gettin out there much. Hopefully next summer get some boat and drone footage with a bit of marine wildlife if I'm lucky!
It's an Insta360 X3, and I've a railblaza port at the front seat and the transom, and I just switch it over depending on the sun angle and side of the boat with the action
This is so good, very informative, entertaining and wow the island looks phenomenal 🙌🏴☠️
Thank you!
Great weather backed up by superb commentary -bravo
Thanks so much Frazer!
Glad I found this channel.. Awesome work and can you beat that for a day??.. Nice one 👌🏼
Love reading comments like yours, thank you so much! It was a stunning day. I've another Tope video uploading as we speak :)
@@TheReelIsle looking forward to this and many more 🫡
Well done! Excellent video. Really like the camerawork.
Thank you, very much appreciated.
Nice size mackerel that 8:17 👍🏼 just like the one the Mrs had on our last session
Aye It gave me a shock in truth, don't see them they like too often
@@TheReelIsle especially when compared to another sized one makes you realise how big it is. Hopefully plenty more that size to come
Good work fella, lovely tope. I got some nice ones out off the warts this summer, out from the sound.
Hi mate thank you. Haven't fished wart bank all that much but would like to give it a go down that way!

Enjoy mate!
Hi , great video, what jacket you wearing I like it
Hi, thank you. The suit I was wearing at the start is a Typhoon Max B dry suit. The life jacket is a Seago
Great video.
Is that a 360 camera at the front and back of the SIB. Would be great to see.

Nice video mate 💪😊
What kind of fishing gear do you use?
Thanks mate! 12-20lb Ugly Stik gx2 with a slosh20
Holy crap that Mackerel 👀
Had some corkers this year!
Do you ever eat the Tope that you catch?
Nope, always safely returned back to the water. Strictly barbless hooks and minimal time out of the water.
Where you anchored then or drift?
Drifting - anchor line being one less thing to worry about.
