I've never caught ling when wreck fishing with soft jigs or slow jigs but we've caugt plenty when bait fishing on the same wrecks.

Think I'm going to use bait more often!

I love bait fishing. It's so simple - just some meat on a hook and you never know what's going to bite. I feel like Jeremy Wade every time I go bait fishing :D

Great video and nice looking boat! Can I ask for a link or more info on the yellow reel/spool you’re using for the main anchor line? That looks great - perfect to let out the exact amount you want - and then does it ‘lock off’ reliably in place and just stay there? Is it happy to be under salt water like that? Do you use the handle to wind it back in or do you just pull it into the boat hand over hand and sort it later? Great system - sorry for all the Q’s!

Love the questions, it's a scuba diver reel and it's built for salt water. I never rinse it, ever. You can buy them from Cornwall canoes. I pull it in by hand and then wind it on after. If there's a friend on board we can carefully feather gear and reel it in instead!

Thanks - I just got one from Cornwall Canoes as suggested - WAY better quality and size than the £27 job I got from Amazon…
Can I ask what weight anchor you’re using there? My 3.2kg is going to be too heavy for this nylon cord I think. Also do you mark the nylon with a sharpie or something for lengths in ft?

Hey I use a 1.5kg grapnel and 4m of chain. I just estimate the warp length rather than mark the cord

Nice ling Jason. I ordered the same seat however I cancelled my order after 4 days of no updates.. Did you order via Amazon?

I got the smaller sized one via Amazon and didn’t have any issues

Thanks mate! Yeah amazon. In fact i ordered another a couple days ago as this one is deflating. It was dispatched today. I also think amazon dispatch it too mate

The audio is very good, i wish other people took sound seriously, some channels are pretty much unwatchable because of bad sound. Although your sound is very slightly out of sync with the picture.

Thank you! I will try and fix that in my next video- you'd think the software would measure Bluetooth latency and adjust it automatically but I'll figure out how to do it
