Bought my kit in Brisbane as I couldn't get in Christchurch NZ. Great presentation. My wife's grandfather was killed in Passchendaele 12/10/1917 so this kit is going to end up in a diorama using photos I took of the restored trenches. Sorry for rambling. Neil
Also a quick tip for everyone, when you open up the box from the bottom flap, you can cut out some cardboard signs based on ones on the western front! They are on the flap!
These figures were Tamiyas first foray in to 3d figure design . People in uniforms were scanned in uniforms then created in CAD/CAM . This is why the latest German figures were some of the best too .

Nice, always good having a reason and photos to work from or give context to a dio…..good luck with it :)

Tamiya can be sneaky like that :)

Great realistic poses
@@MrBMBuilder much better than their older stuff .
@@glenfisher728 Great for plastic figures and yes Tamiya is getting better all the time
Great review👍From one of your viewers in Canada🇨🇦
Thanks glad you liked it ;)
I guess. But would like to find somme 'upright' Riflemen for Formation ???
Definitely worth up grading to a hornet head on these figures 1/35 scale …
Yes and I think the German sets would look great to with resin heads as well
That's a nice set
I like the lying down guy the most I think
One could almost use most of these figures in WWII dioramas, excluding the officer since his outfit looks WWI in my opinion
Interesting, I don't know much about British uniforms other than a couple of figures I own
Nice kit. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Great figure's, but Tamiya show the resperator bag fitted the wrong way around, the flap should be against the body not on the front.
ok :)
What hobby shop do you go to
All of them :)
@@MrBMBuilder Haha fair enough, I’ve only really got access to hobby craft at cribbs causeway but I suppose it is quite good.
