Well done on your weight loss Patrick. Not convinced intermittent fasting would be the best thing for me. I know I would be focusing and thinking about when I could next eat and probably end up reaching for something unhealthy instead..! However, I have been drinking more water and getting my 5000 step target in, so happy for that! 👍😀
Hi Patrick. I used to watch your channel a long time ago when I used to go to S.W I've been calorie counting with great success for a few years now. It's great to see your calorie counting ideas. I need to get back on track again after a year of anxiety which affected my weight. . The Intermittent fasting idea seems good to give me a boost (how many hours should you fast?) and going to give the Renpho scales a go now that I'm exercising. I've also got my trusty pinch of nom books which are great. Started Race at your pace for encouraging me to get out and walk. Looking forward to seeing your next updates.
I love calorie counted is so much easier than slim as well I can eat what I want just give you so much more freedom and I eat stuff that I never used to because it seems used to be so high every week I'm losing it's a no-brainer
I've been intermittent fasting since last summer. Absolutely love it. I aim for 16 hours fasting but have done over 20 hours some days. I'm just not as obsessive about eating as I used to be. Always fit in my calories over the course of the week, so I'm happy with how it's going. Was away at a hotel for a few days last week and up 3lbs yesterday when I weighed. I knew I hadn't eaten enough to justify that so weighed again this morning and already 1 of those lbs gone. I'd say it's mostly fluid retention from high sodium meals. I made a feta and tomato tart this evening for dinner that you could try out. I bought puff pastry ready made. Had some homemade wedges with it. Went down really well here 🙂
Hi Patrick, so happy! week 2 and 3lb loss again this week. Unfortunately the walking challenge didn't happen, so I swapped to increasing fruit tea and water Instead of the usual tea/coffee all day. This week I'm joining my son with 5 x 20mins indoor pe challenges. Food ideas for you, remember your sweet chilli chicken and broccoli recipe? Think still on this channel, still a favourite in our house and so tasty! We enjoy making a fake away kebab and cook in the slow cooker on a wholemeal pitta and have sweet potato fries and homemade coleslaw. Freezes well too as always lots left over. Good luck week ahead challenge and weigh in.
Tbh it didn't go well at all for me counting calories 🤦🏻♀️ and gained 2lbs. I'm in the middle of trying to decide if to go to slimming world for a wee bit 🤔. Thank you for sharing your video ☺️
Hi I've been thinking about doing intermittent fasting, I generally don't eat breakfast etc, though I do like a black coffee, do you just drink water in your fasting window
Thanks for the comment, I do eat veg, about 4 times a week and fruit the other days. I don't add veg to my calorie counting. I really should, the calories are so small I don't bother. Good shout though, thanks
Where is the vegetables
Great spotting! I have an "extra 100" , that's a buffer of 100 calories for veg plus any low cal sauces.
