I'm a very new Christian who lives in Scotland. I love to hear about Jesus and learn about him through the bible. The Pastors at South Eastern Christian Church have taught me so much, but I have just begun my journey. South Easter Church ministry is a good good Church to learn about the teachings of the bible and I feel blessed and honoured to hear the word of the Lord taught so passionately and knowledgeably by the excellent Pastors at South Eastern Church.

Kyle, thank you! "And we know all things...", certainly without a doubt.

Kyle, thank you for pointing out "We all know" in Roman's 8:28 as a certainty and in the affirmative.
From the Bible, we know that Christians are elects, pre-ordained, forknew, predestined, God's "sovereign choice" for eternal glory. Your assurance that everything will turn out "for our good", according to God's purposes put my heart very much at ease.
My husband has walked away from the faith and both my sons refused the gospel.
My older son has a growth in his thyroid area for some years now and both he and his father were too fearful for an operation. The growth has since become more apparent now.
After hearing your sermon, I accept that God must have a purpose for this growth. It didn't sound sensible and I wouldn't know what God is up to. I have been caught between a rock and a hard place.
Claiming the promise in Jeremiah 29:11 where God said He "has plans to prosper me and not to harm me, to give me a hope and a future". All I can do for now is to look up to God our Father, just knowing that things would be well. No question or reasoning. Just FAITH. Surely nothing is too hard for Him. I look forward to "watch" the unfolding events of my life particularly that of my family members and those of my loved ones.
Father, in your mercy and grace, I pray I would not have to wait too long for "good things".
I upped my expectations and patiently wait on the good Lord for our glorification. Amen.
