Agreed; salvation is of the Lord (Jonah 2:9), therefore it is not ours to lose. An unmerited, unconditional gift based on God’s grace, not on our works.
*Can A Christian Lose Their Salvation?* Here is Jesus' answer: "But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers." How can I lose my Salvation when I didn't Save my ownself ? Jesus our Christ is the SAVIOUR only and he said : All that come to me I will SAVE and I have lost no not One. Look up if you Look to the Messiah People for in him is LIFE and in him we see our Father , my Father your Father and give him thanks and praise always and rejoice . Love you and why ? John 15: 3You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me. 5I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit.
Is.45:22, Look unto Me ('a just God and a Savoir', v.21), and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. The Gospel is Jesus Christ inviting all men, Come unto Me! Come unto Me, and be saved! Come unto Me (not pelagianism, not arminianism, not calvinism), Come unto Me, a just God and a Savoir! The simplicity in Christ is such that a 'wayfaring man shall not err therein' (Is.35:8). Unless you are born again, become humble as a little child, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.
Not always, but often, Catholics that criticize Protestant explanations of Catholic teaching do so not because Protestant explanations are wrong, but because Protestant explanations are correct. And that clarified explanation falls hard on Catholic ears.

Jesus said, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof! (Matt.21:43) Salvation is a gift, and eternal life is a free gift, yet though it cannot be lost, it can be taken away by the Giver. Only God has the right to give assurance of salvation, as only He can grant/give repentance unto life, and repentance unto salvation. Variance, emulations, debates, strifes, etc are works of the flesh, and apostle Paul said over and over, They which do such thing shall not inherit the Kingdom of GOD (Gal.5:20-21). Redeem the time! Preach the Word! 'Are you so foolish?...are ye now made perfect (and given assurance) by the Flesh??'(Gal.3:3) We are saved by hope (Rom.8:24) and 'Every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of HOPE unto the end...through faith and patience!' (Heb.6:11-12)
To remember one's baptism in a sacramental church, is to say in essence, I remember God's objective gift to me that I have been joined with Christ thru Baptism - Romans 6. It is to get the focus off self and onto the Gospel. Even if you don't believe in baptism as sacrament, baptism is still gospel ----in its symbol of washing away sin, --- in its terminology of the name of God being placed onto a Christian,--- and in the various texts of scripture that connect baptism into the message of grace.
The chosen ones were saved from before the foundation of the world Revelation 13: 8 never loose their salvation, all others were never saved. Galatians 1:15 Paul was chosen before he was born. God already knows who his children are , you know you are chosen because God told us in John 3:16-18 , but the question you have to ask is what does it mean to Believe in Jesus Christ, it means that every Blessed word that comes out of his mouth you believe without question and apply it, I will give two that just about everyone refuse to accept one is STOP sinning and the other is Mathew 5:48 and they were chosen because God already knew who would listen and obey him , so that he can conform us into the image of his ONLY BEGOTTEN Son Romans 8:29-30.

@@jamesbuenaventura998 u read Matthew 7 wrong. Jesus tells them “You will prophesy in my name, heal in my name etc & I will say depart from me I never knew you” it’s because of their WORKS. How can you lose your salvation if you don’t receive it until after the race is run and you are no longer alive? That being said, you can make shipwreck of your faith. In the parable of the unforgiving servant, a slave once owed a master a debt beyond what he could ever pay. The master showed him mercy and granted him pardon and told him he owed him nothing. This same servant refused to forgive the debt of another servant who owed him. Upon hearing this, the master removed his pardon and sent the slave to jail to work of his debt that was impossible to pay.
