    Good vid DP. By the way you where concentrating on that dragline I bet you would be feeling a bit knackered in a few hours. As far as the Hyundai machines go pity they don't have the option to save settings to a USB drive so you could transfer your preferences between machines. Perhaps something the could implement at some stage?

      I was thinking a phone app and Bluetooth connection. An App/Bluetooth connection could also allow for additional job site security in the form of kind of two part authorization to start it (Key and App).

    I enjoyed the review and your take on the differences. Also like what you say, “bigger isn’t always better”. I like the common sense approach to how you gauge what machine works best for your company and the jobs you do. It may be a little stronger, definitely louder, but what you have is matched perfectly for your needs.
    Fuel burn for you and that machine would be higher just because of the jobs you do, I think. It would be impossible to know for sure unless you ran them side by side doing the same job.
    Thanks for bringing us along as always.

    Compete with the link belt? For the first 30 feet of reach, you win. For the next 50 (or maybe 70 if he is a good at casting), yours will be under water or moving mats. They compliment each other.

    • @dirtgrainsteel
      @dirtgrainsteel Год назад

      Good question! If my crane had independent travel and swing the lever for travel would be there my crane is not set up for independent travel and swing so you have have to move a shiter lever beside your right leg to select between travel or swing and then use the lever to make the selected function work....independent travel and swing was a $1,500 field installed option and I wish my crane had it....the gauge is to tell you the hydraulic pressure for the controls I put it there so I could see it better because if it drops you loose your controls and originally it was down towards the floor on the right side and not easy to see

    There are three things that the draglines excell at over an excavator: first is the amount of reach they have without having to move around the hole , second , is just how deep do you want that hole to be ? You can cut benches with the hoe , but once the water comes in you're done , the draglines just keep on going, and third is the cool factor , you might get a few guys watching the hoe for a short while , but the draglines will have a crowd of little boys with grey hair and beards standing around mesmerized ! Hell , I still have the Michigan ( Clark ) truck crane that I got for Christmas of 1960 .
