@@TeddyBelcher4kultrawide Given that their boss theme is a copyright-free variation of Black Sabbath's Iron Man (which was the Road Warriors' theme in the AWA and a few times afterwards), I don't think there's any question who they're supposed to be.
He was paid to destroy the clan, so basically yeah. The storylines get better in later installments, especially once Hayabusa becomes canon in the DoA universe.
This is before Ninja Gaiden on the. NES it was his first mission and he was a teenager and was hired to kill the gang to earn The Dragon Sword later from his father. Keep in mind he is only 15 or 16 when he did this. They made him 18 or 21 in America to make some of the side scences go with him being an adult. This was a great game. I like the other one Wild Fang. Such a hard and bloodied game.
I remember this being a quarter eater. Being a wrestling fan, does anyone else notice not only the Giant Twins resemble the Road Warriors but they also have a similar theme song? Hawk and Animal were highly influential in Japanese gaming and anime culture. Awesome playthrough
This game was incredible to me as a kid in the 80s. But it also scared me a little, especially the first time I saw the Game Over screen. Shit was terrifying. Some of the bosses were really scary looking too.
1:56 Now why does that song sound so familiar? It's almost like I already heard it in something about _iron_ and _men,_ but I can't quite put my finger on it.
Wouldn't surprise me. Beat-up-em genre games of the era are a notable in that the Japanese versions were often easier than their western ports. Anything that was produced by Konami in the 80s/90s was usually harder in the western ports as well if there were any difficultly differences (such as the original Castlevania providing an easy mode option for Japanese players or the relatively tame Mad City being ported into the insanely hard Bayou Billy.)
@@mresturk9336 The Sega Genesis/Mega Drive version of Bare Knuckle 3(Japan) was very toned down difficulty compared to the North American Streets Of Rage 3 which the west version was very difficult. In the options menu in the Japanese version setting the difficulty set to Hardest actually feels like Normal difficulty. In the US hardest mean it's relentless and you'll often die is cheap ways.
The only bad part about this is we don't get to the see the truly epic game over screen where he's tied to a chair and a buzz saw is going to chop him in half.. or maybe this is the one with the bomb ticking down?
This is one of the few times I can honestly say I prefer the 8-Bit NES port over the arcade version. This was just too much of a generic fighter for my tastes.
The games were developed simultaneously by different teams, so it's not really a port. The NES game is superior however I do have a sweet spot for this game. It's a great stress reliever.
Hexagrams were in use as occult symbols long before the First Zionist Congress voted to put it on flags back in 1897. Being that Bladedamus is said to be descended from Michel Nostradamus, it stands to reason that he believes in occult practices and would utilize them in his environment/surroundings.

Fun fact when this was on the arcade section of the Wii Virtual Console the music was cut with the main stage music playing the entire time.

ITS THE ROAD WARRIORS!!!
Jason, The Road Warriors, Randy Savage, Humongous.
Yeah this was done in the 80's.
Don't forget the Beast Master Death Guards.
I'm glad RUclips is doing right thing with my recommendation
So they do the “whooo” sound like Vega In Street Fighter. Claws and everything.
I went to the US of A back in the day. I can confirm this is a 100% accurate depiction. Drinking at a beer garden sure got the adrenaline running!!
The way the Claw Trio walk is hilarious to me for some reason. Cant stop laughing. Help.
Love their thicc glutes.
Ryu : "I saved the world , thats what I am talking about ."
Jaquio and the Malice Four :
"Are you sure about that ?"
Ryu : "What the ... ?"
I keep hearing the Japanese version of Ninja Gaiden Arcade the game's difficulty is much easier than the North American version. But I could be wrong.
It's the other way around I think

Anyone noticed the twin giants look like Road Warrior Hawk from pro wrestling?
That's dope, the last level has reference to JoJo's Bizarre Adventures Pillar men, with the masks and all.
Ryu went from beating human being to killing demons ahhh man puberty really changes a person
Oh shit!! The Road Warriors aka the Legion of Doom as 2nd stage bosses!!
No wonder Ryu runs so weird, his arms are bigger than his legs
Ryu versus the evil S&M clan!

Wonderful
You got your Mad Max in my Ninja Gaiden!
did he just kill the main charater from Splatter House series at the beginning of the game ?
I thought it was Jason.
I like to believe the casino bosses were influenced by the Death Guards from The Beastmaster.
Shadowserg, I love it game so much! I'll give it subscribed you!

The final boss is Lord Humungus brother from Mad Max. Top ten anime crossovers.
So Ryu defeated Shao Kahn and saved Earth Realm in the end. Raiden should have chose Ryu to be Champion of Earth Realm in Mortal Kombat.

Did I just watch Yokozuna fart out 2 Jason Vorhees.....
What is that combo hes throwing?
I like the Claw Trio's voice like 'Woo!". XD
Similar to Vega/Balrog/Claw
A first stage boss in a classic beat em up is always a fat dude a burly dude or a sumo wrestler built dude.
What the Fuck? How did you pull this off this Game is Hard as Hell I did beat it but it took lots of credits.
WAY different than the NES version.
Entirely different game released in the same time

Why are there Stars of David/Jewish symbols at the twin Sumos and the Blademus fight...

That's a pentagram in the twin sumo fight, which isn't a Jewish symbol. The Star of David, or hexagram, is only in the last fight.
