the very fact that someone like The Punisher can pick up a man like the Kingpin, let alone throw him any distance whatsoever, confirms beyond all reasonable doubt that he is one of the most powerful non-metahuman Heroes That has ever walked the face of the Earth.

The worst decision ever was to mimmick when Deadpool killed marvel and pretend that punisher could do the ssme. What happened when he fought Hulk isnt even actually possible to stop Hulk. Sad reallly for punisher fans

I love how Punisher's pistol has infinite ammo, no reloads.
I was 9 yrs old outside my local convenience store using all the left over grocery change, finishing this game with another kid. One of the first and best memories gaming

back in the days beat'em/button bashing games required skill unlike modern beat'em up games eg "god of war"

My best gaming moments must be from various arcades. I like the old beat-em ups like Cadillacs and Dinosaurs and Marvel vs Capcom. There are others games I like, but beat-em ups have to be my favourite out if all the arcade genres.

In Daredevil, there was a crime-boss associated with the Kingpin named Eric Slaughter who led a cabal of hitmen. I remember they often used unorthodox weapons that would fit in with this game like nunchucks and blowdarts.

It saddens me that Frank Castle was one of the earliest Capcom arcade games yet he never got a single feature in the Marvel versus Capcom titles.
@2r3333 the legacy was there. But in its wake capcom gave us some awesome games and was a bridge for future marvel titles & crossovers

this kingpin guy is one of the coolest final bosses i've seen
Some of the most badass ending credits ever.
I played it at the arcade and noticed that a few times, especially during the final fight with Kingpin, there were slowdowns and sprite flickering, possibly because the CPS-1 hardware was being pushed to its limit at that point.
I don't think the CPS2 was ever given more CPU speed or better sprite capabilities than the CPS1; probably just a result of poor programming when you consider how quickly these games were released.
I had no idea that this game existed, and I was a huge Capcom fan back then!
Now I'm upset that he wasn't used in the VS series!

The Kingpin isn't even fat. He's 350lbs with only 2% body fat. Kingpin is a monster of muscle and a experienced martial artist. Don't let his large frame confuse you, because he has manhandled people like Spider-Man with ease.

I loved this game at the arcade. My favs were this, the Simpsons, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter 2, X-Men, and Turtles in time.
Skully's soul went to Hades and back 22 times before he hit the ground. That was the most dramatic death scene in history 😂😂

@Shadowserg I have one question. Do You maybe know this strange way of making bosses quit instead of fighting. I mean some bosses that is. It has something to do with beating into submission but not killing TRENCH. This guy with machinegun and backward baseball cap. I've seen it many years ago on the arcade and cannot find any info about it.
