  • The state of Florida is suing the Biden Administration over new federal laws on gender-based surgeries. Attorney General Ashley Moody says insurers should not have to cover gender-based surgeries and medical procedures. She says it is an attempt by the White House to force the state to pay for puberty blockers and other so-called gender-affirming care. Several other parties joined the lawsuit, including the Catholic Medical Association. Senior fellow for the Catholic Medical Association and host of the nationally syndicated radio show "Conversations with Consequences" on EWTN, Dr. Grazie Pozo Christie, joins to tell us more about this change to federal law and how it will affect Catholic hospitals and health care professionals. Dr. Grazie shares her thoughts on Attorney General Moody's statement and what's at stake if Florida's law is upended by the Biden Administration's rule. She fills us in on what else she is following.
