Daniel I give you mega credit for spending quality time with the kids. Teaching them so many life lessons and just enjoying the outdoors. Especially respecting the creek and all it provides. I grew up around rivers and lakes in Wisconsin and it’s the best. Swimming,boating and fishing all these activities help them grow. ❤️ and happy times.

I love watching the whole lot of you playing at the creek! Bella, Earl, Houston, Jacoby, and yes you too Daniel! LOL. I think your the biggest kid of them all. My Nephew and his cousin went fishing today and cought some monster rainbow trout. The boys were sure having a great time.

Daniel, I was raised at the tail end of the "children should be seen but not heard" era. The attention you and Deejay give your children and their friends and the time and participation you afford them is absolutely beautiful. I love that you hear them and not ignore them like my parents did. Your comments on hoping Houston and Jacoby will want to spend time at the creek fishing and swimming really touched me. You get it! What an amazing day for you, Houston and Jacoby. I grew up like you Daniel. My brothers and i doing things like this with our dad. The boys grew out of it. I never did. As a daddy's girl and a bit of a tomboy i loved and still love creeks, rivers, lakes and anything to do with the outdoors. My kids had fishing pools as soon as they could walk. We still hike, primitive camp, fish, hunt. You name it. My hubby loves the same things. My kids are grown. Daughter is the same with her hubby and 3 girls. My son is Autistic and still home but loves the outdoors. Theres nothing like it. Bless you and your family. You and DeeJay are doing amazing

I honestly don't think Houston will ever grow out of loving the creek, hunting, and all of that. He'll develop other interests like all kids do as they grow up, but just from seeing his passion of all that stuff I think it'll always be in him.
That was a pretty sunfish. I always loved fishing. Still do, but never learned much about what I was actually doing.
Bella sure is enjoying herself. Jacobi and Houston are off to a wonderful summer; fishing, swimming, all the things that’s makes it great to be that age ing the summer. Wa-hooo!

I grew up playing in a creek too. Wonderful memories of poly wogs, tadpoles, bull frogs. Raft making, trying to catch black fish by hand and just general nature's magic. Cute to see you guys making memories:)
