You can also use hotdogs as bait as well, I was in a public pool, talking to people and when I was talking to a man he was mentioning his fishing stories and he told me that he used boiled hotdogs for bait and had a massive lunch the following day.

I have that exact same stove and the reason for the flare up is because you light the stove with the propane can upside down. When its sitting up its gas, upside down it becomes a liquid. Suppose to light it sitting up then flip upside down for more btu. Awesome video as always bruddah!

Ace, I caught my first golden trout in that exact same spot, I ignored the sign on bridge too and went off to the side, lol. I saw it in there, I had a worm pass it about 50 times. On the 51st pass it bit. Was worth the effort.

Hey ace, so when you soak fish in Sprite, you say 'somehow' it takes away the fish smell/taste. Well that smell comes from organic compounds called amines, and human pee has it too, which is why pee sometimes smells fishy. Amines are a weak base. The Sprite contains citric acid as a flavour enhancer. This is a weak acid. When weak acid and weak base react, solution is neutral. This brings out the sweetness of the Sprite! The fishy flavour should disappear immediately when Sprite is added, whilst the sweet flavour will take an hour to soak.
Hey I came across this Channel very recently and it always makes me smile to see fishing channels. I live in Florida. Try using lizards as bait they are Cuban brown anoles and you can buy them in pet smart best bait

Great job catching a few rainbows to eat. Come back to the spot because maybe the golden trout will still be there. I found this one fat rainbow in the river by me around 19"-20." I missed him one day, which was frustrating. Then, I came back two weeks later, and I found it in the exact same spot and got it to eat again, but then it spit the hook. Then I finally landed my new PB rainbow 3 days later. Same fish all three times (over a span of almost 3 weeks total), and I've seen it in the same spot in the 2 or 3 times I've been to the river since catching the big trout.
Hey one thing my dad and I do is use a treble hook. It won’t get stuck in the trouts throat so you won’t have to kill small ones on accident. Also with the treble hook you can put multiple baits on it since it’s 3 hooks. I’m sure you know about it but I haven’t seen you use one in your videos yet. Love your videos by the way!
Could you make a video about the best ways to remove hooks (especially swallowed) without ripping. Also a video on what type of bait is best for the most commonly caught fish would be super cool.
I think your best bet for the bigger rainbow trout would be using a soft plastic as they’ll be feeding on bigger things like small fish and larger insects etc, for large trout here in New Zealand the 3” Berkley paddletail goes well.
