Don't tell us how we think. We marched for peace for both sides and stability in the region. For a ceasefire to end the more than 90% CIVILIAN death rate. Of those deaths, a majority were women, babies and children. Wanting unwanton death and destruction to end, to oppose the use of white phosphorous in a dense civilian population, which is BANNED under international law, the cessation of hospital, schools, bakeries and places of worship being bombed does NOT in any way equate to being a supporter of Hamas.
I was shocked and just as appalled at Hamas' attack on civilians in Israel. According to Netanyahu's own list of victims from 7/10 at least 50% were military, Israel'a bombs however, have PREDOMINANTLY resulted in more than a 90% civilian death rate. Marching for peace, a ceasefire, & for the bloodshed on both sides to stop, to seek a deal whereby both sides can live in stability, dignity and equality is NOT unreasonable, or extremist. Neither is an opinion that Israel must stop flouting international law to starve, dehydrate and deny basic fuel, clean water, electricity and internet to millions of civilians. Israel's bombing has resulted in more than 6, 0000 tonnes of bombs to reign down on a civilian population, more than an entire year of bombing in Afghanistan...and look how well that turned out...
You cannot bomb an ideology out of people and it is not okay to murder mostly civilians to kill only a handful of Hamas fighters, something no independent source has verified yet. Many of whom will already have fled abroad by now, anyway.
The fate & safety of innocent civilian hostages taken by Hamas is NOT benefitted by mass bombings of alleged Hamas tunnels, given that is where most of them probably were taken to. The denial to allow fuel to enter Gaza means the air filtration system would not be able to be used to keep hostages alive, in fact it makes it, along with much of their indiscriminste bombing, resulted in just mass civilian casualties of an already beleaguered, impoverished and oppressed population more likely that they themselves will kill the hostages. By any stretch of the imagination there is no way they will be able to rescue all hostages safely given how they are carpet-bombing whole civilian areas with their indiscriminate bombing campaign.
They were offered all the hostages at one point for Palestinian prisoners, but the Netanyahu government did not take that up, or the release of foreign nationals for a ceasefire as obviously, to release hostages safely, a cessation of bombing would be paramount. None of these were deals that the Israeli government accepted, & their indiscriminate bombing is NOT going to help the hostages reach home safely, either. Just like on 7th October where many deaths were actually CAUSED by Israeli troops crossfire with Hamas, the hostages in this situation are likely to die rather than be saved by Israel. Nothing they do shows their genuine concern for the safe return of hostages, or for the lives of civilians in Gaza.
If you want to support a nation that breaks international law and is starving & dehydrating to death EVERYONE in Gaza, that is your business, but people who are concerned about the welfare of 2. 1 million civilians is not invalid, & to want peace and an end to unnecessary carnage. Stop telling us what we are marching for. We know what we stand for, & that is for humanity and a ceasefire and for Israel to stop breaking international law constantly, for the safe release of all hostages and the stability & safety of the entire Middle East.

The Hamas knew there would be repercussions and welcomed them. The Palestinian people were seen celebrating in the streets. What the good Palestinian hasn't realised yet is that Hamas used them for human shields, they hide behind and underneath the people.

If the march has an extremist cohort then if they cannot be removed the whole march needs to be removed as it seems the marching people will not remove them.
