BBC Proms 2024 has 90 concerts with 3,000 musicians. Sorry to break it to you, but most of the music, many of the artists, choirs, and orchestras are not British.

Handel may have been born in Germany but for a lot of his career as a composer he was a naturalized British Subject. He chose to be British and she is using him as an example of how unbritish classical music is.
She probably didn't choose the best example for a composer not representative of Britain; Handel lived in England most of his life, he's buried in Westminster Abbey and that piece she mentioned was written in England and premiered at Covent Garden.

She probably didn't choose the best example for a composer not representative of Britain; Handel lived in England most of his life, he's buried in Westminster Abbey and that piece she mentioned was written in England and premiered at Covent Garden.
