Yes, it would be nice if the bright display went off after a while and this could be set in the advanced options. A feature request. 💸🌝

I don’t know what happened or who touched it but now the screen stays off until touched

These need a brightness setting or something. The screen is ridiculously bright at night with no option to turn it off…

I had this same problem with the mini-split, I know this probably won't work on this controller but what I did was put a piece of tape, the type you put at the bottom of a door to stop drafts over the screen making sure the sticky part doesn't touch the lit up screen, put it above, then I blacked it out with magic marker. I can still see the numbers but the light glare has gone to some degree. Not sure what to suggest for the big one, sorry, wish I had a solution.

@@selket51 @Scarbuckks Assuming your unit is the same as mine, had a horrible time trying to find this myself so made a guide for how to turn things off on the unit itself ruclips.net/video/8Egi2GmKLHI/видео.htmlsi=lV-mLy6Z3ppkNtNg

For anyone else who, like me, struggled to find how to change brightness, sound, button lights, etc because of the non-intuitive user interface. I made a quick video guide for brightness and screen timeout. ruclips.net/video/8Egi2GmKLHI/видео.htmlsi=lV-mLy6Z3ppkNtNg
I don't know what the differences between units are as it's really hard to find information on these controllers for some reason, but hopefully this helps and works for everyone.
