does it allow you to also set the temp when doing this schedule thing? I'm unable to get mine below 72 degrees, if I lower the temp to around 68 it resets to 72. I have many rooms where the sun shines right into them and heats the room up like a greenhouse even when the AC is set to 72, going a bit lower would cool it off but it won't allow me to do this. Is there a workaround for this to get the AC temp below 72?
Do you know if it is possible to replace the totally useless MWR-WE13 controller with something like this (which is what I expected would come with any half decent air conditioner when I bought mine a couple of years ago).
In the video, at 1:15, under the auto option, it shows a separate temperature for heating and for cooling. On my thermostat it only shows one temperature in the auto mode. Please advise.
I would love an external thermostat that is as simple as... if home temp goes above 76F turn on cooling until satisfied and turn off while also having if home temp drops below 67f turn on heat till satisfied. Our home is nearly always occupied and cannot find one that is this simple. Live in Tucson and our daily temps can range over 40 degrees. One day the low/high can be 43/80 and the next day 75/98. I feel I'm always chasing the 5 mini splits to keep reasonably comfortable. The units perform great when they get the correct inputs. The other issue is the sun hits the east family room and the display is 95 while the room is actually cold near 70.
