I love the fact that the actors haven't aged much since the old Spiderman movies, especially William Defoe, hes still great as the green goblin even after all these years 😊😊😊😊
nah dafoe still aged a lil more wrinkles on him but yeah all of the actors look great for their ages , dafoe could be your grandpa but he is killing it . I see it pretty often nowadays. With todays healthcare 60yo is new 50-45
If no one had ever been sold on Green Goblin being Spider-Man's ultimate archenemy before, this scene and what comes after should've. Plus, I love the fun fact that Willem Dafoe improvised the laugh during the punch. That legit freaked Tom Holland out and added to the scene.
I don't see nearly enough people realize that: ''strong enough to have it all, too weak to take it'' is meant to be the complete antithesis of: ''with great powers comes great responsibilities''.
Dude imagine punching someone in the face with everything you got and they just start laughing like bro put some respect on my name before I get tell aunt may get the strap, He was hitting wwe moves on my boy 😂
@ if he actually was holding back on someone who sent him flying from a back hand into stair then again down a hallway after he had already put him through a floor he’s crazy
This might be unpopular opinion but he's not suitable for that character, but Bill skarsgard or Tom hiddleston could pulled that off, and Olivier Richters as bane, oooh that's really how comics brought to life.
I'm convinced that this movie and Deadpool and Wolverine is what happens when Marvel gives the fans what they want. Not fanservice, not nostalgia bait, just letting characters get the closure they deserve and having just as much fun as the fans are.
Honestly, you're not wrong, though it might be a bit difficult to assemble a cohesive Sinister Six in the MCU. Mysterio is "dead" but I really doubt that he actually died in Far From Home, everyone from No Way Home doesn't have their own MCU counterpart, they'd just have to assemble Spidey's remaining villains left. Vulture and Scorpion are in prison, Mysterio's probably alive somewhere, there's part of the Venom Symbiote somewhere in Central America, I guess the Prowler is still out there since Peter meets him in Homecoming (Childish Gambino's character). They'd have to really skew the usual cast of the Sinister Six in order to make it work with the MCU villains
They should use more of Willem Dafoes Green Goblin in the animated Spider-Man movies say it's a different variation of the character from a different multiverse
Honestly the main plot of this movie was kinda all over the place and didn't really feel like they had a very good since of direction of what they wanted to do. But it really didn't matter since Defoe absolutely crushed his role
Really? How so? Peter wants the world to forget he’s spiderman, that goes haywire, villains come through, gotta send them back. Pretty straightforward.

He literally looks like a Goblin 😂😂😂😂😂. He was born to play this role. That getting punched face..... scariest thing during a fight.
They also used de-aging on Defoe.

@@dixbowman3452 The biggest injustice was them covering it up in the first movie.
Willem Defoe looks a bit older, but Alfred Molina looks pretty much the exact same here as he did in Spiderman 2.
just Green Goblin casually whipping out the coolest spinebuster done on film

Willem Defoe always kills it. He was born to play this role. We need some Spiderverse reactions!!!
I don't see nearly enough people realize that: ''strong enough to have it all, too weak to take it'' is meant to be the complete antithesis of: ''with great powers comes great responsibilities''.
Green Goblin wearing a mask is the only issue I have with Spider-Man (2002), Willem's face is perfect for the character.
Dude imagine punching someone in the face with everything you got and they just start laughing like bro put some respect on my name before I get tell aunt may get the strap, He was hitting wwe moves on my boy 😂
Peter was still holding back with his powers.
@ it lowkey doesn’t matter if he was or not. Getting punched and elbows to the dome should not make you laugh even a little 😂
@ if he actually was holding back on someone who sent him flying from a back hand into stair then again down a hallway after he had already put him through a floor he’s crazy
@@treyb9999 Well consider he was punching Norman later and Norman was very much not laughing I could say that yeah Peter was still holding back
@ all that and not a drop of blood bro was still laughing at him at the end
It's a shame that Willhelm dafoe never played joker
I think he'd be a terrifying Scarecrow as well
This might be unpopular opinion but he's not suitable for that character, but Bill skarsgard or Tom hiddleston could pulled that off, and Olivier Richters as bane, oooh that's really how comics brought to life.
I love how expressive Dafoe is. Would be great to see him go the Serkis route and wear them face dots to play more animated characters.
I'm convinced that this movie and Deadpool and Wolverine is what happens when Marvel gives the fans what they want. Not fanservice, not nostalgia bait, just letting characters get the closure they deserve and having just as much fun as the fans are.
I consider this our very first look at a live action potential of Spider-Man vs The Sinister Six.

As Weird Al Yankovic pointed out, the Green Goblin is scarier without his mask.
Even in the comics the Goblin is OP I don’t see how this is a surprise lol
🤓👆🏻
Willam defoe never lost his edge! He IS Green Goblin just as Kevin Conroy IS (and still is) Batman.
I often wonder how he would've been if he was playing "the joker"
Such a great moment in Spider-Man no way home
I think this is one of the best fights in the MCU and one of the best scenes from any spider-man film. Its peak
They should use more of Willem Dafoes Green Goblin in the animated Spider-Man movies say it's a different variation of the character from a different multiverse
Suggestion: Nobody - Bus fight or home invasion
Please and thank you
I still need him as the joker he would destroy that role
Not this editing cutting out the reactions to the goblin laugh
