East Broad Topin coal country Pennsylvania. Old narrow gauge steam railroad that went out of business years ago that was slated to be scrapped. It has experienced couple of resurrection as tourist railroad with the only still running belt drive machine shop being fixed to help bring more of the old steam locomotives back to running condition.
I love your channel! Where were you decades ago? 😀 I am sure that you will eventually tour the Northeast, so I'll try to send you ideas. Example : Long Island Live Steamers-they have a nice club/family operation. In Riverhead (with a branch in Greenport) is the Railroad Museum of Long Island. Sadly no major rides yet, but a nice collection of memorabilia, including a historic Lionel layout that was rescued from their headquarters and set up for operation here in 2011. In Greenport the major structure of the last LIRR turntable is still intact. That's it for now, but I'll send more eventually.
@@alandaters8547 Well decades ago I did make a few trips up to Long Island - my step mom is from there. My memories are of the beach, a big Italian dinner and Carvel 😂 and NYC. Clearly I need to go back and check out the live steamers, etc. Thank you for your recommendations!

Fullerton has been a nice place to touch base with other rail enthusiasts. They have had 3751 on hand along with a BNSF and amtrak power units for cab tour. One year even had a disney loco. Main empathizing train safety
