- Finally got around to working on the batteries. It did take a little time to make sure that the batteries and leads were connected correctly. The sparks from the spot welder were unnerving, takes a little getting use to. But, I have used this several times and it works great. So far, better than buying a new 3 amp battery and have plenty of batteries and material left to do more units.
That last part been there done that lol. Rough when they don't wana come back out. Great video never replaced the nick. Seem to get it off with out really damaging the nickel.
Just my luck. The only part I really NEEDED to see was out of frame. Oh well. That's life.
Man I feel that, not on this video specifically, just other situations, and its that one thing you wouldn't expect to be difficult to figure out. Its been 9 months isnce your comment I am sure you found your answer already.
Great tutorial!
I'm curious how necessary the paper gaskets are?
I am totally not sure, but just replacing what was already there.
They are a good thing to do when fixing a battery the cylindrical body of the cell is all negative if a bit of the insulation gets exposed it can connect to the positive inadvertently. The little circular tabs are for safety
Where can you buy reliable replacement battery cells in order to do this?
I got mine from 16850 battery store. I bought only Samsung batteries in a higher amp rating. But to make shipping cost worth while. I did purchase more than I needed.

disculpa donde y como se llama ese tipo de soldador para pegar las laminas a las baterias, Gracias
It is a spot welder. The link is in the description.
Why were you only getting 2 bars in the tool on a fully charged battery pack?
I dont know why, but after a complete charge it is showing full bars and works great.
