Great Job Girl 💕💯
I just came across this video yesterday and I thought I should try this technique today for a friend’s anniversary I was attending. I just came back home and my make up is FLAWLESS! I left at 8:00 am and just came back at 20:30pm and I did not break one sweat - and I have super oily skin! This really works!❤
I work oceanfront in SC & when I tell you the tips in this video have TRANSFORMED my beat game! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Thank you so much, adding the setting powder before is a game changer!
@@AleJay im super oily but want to hide my pores- can you do one on using pore primer and matte primer? i want to hide pores and stay matte transfer prrof :)
I have been doing this technique using translucent powder before applying foundation I believe for a good 7 years. It has certainly helped keep my makeup in place and appear less oily. I am glad I learned that beauty hack a few years back because it is not a good look when your foundation appears cakey.
You’re throwing it back with Clinique Foundation and Revolution IRL Concealer been my go since it came out. I have deep lids and circles.. it gives me full coverage. I’m dry skin and still be sweating. But with a matte primer & setting powder 🙌💎🔥😊
I am a person who sweats all the time, especially around the hairline. I tried these steps applying all the products that was suggested and in the same order, it just did not work. While doing the make up it already started to look and feel like paste, as soon as I walked outside in the sun and the sweat came, it was paste, I used a make up wipe and can see the thickness of all products, I also used almost all the same product except for the setting spray, I used morphe continuous setting mist, I also lightly used transparent powder to set the primer.
Maybe the products weren't a good fit for your skin/ skin type.. (You and the others it didn't work for.) I haven't tried it, but I also research products for my skin type and not what people suggest as no two people are the same.
Y'all, the best moisturizer that leaves skin plump, sweat free is natural Aloe Vera gel. Be it oily skin, dry skin, normal or combination. It's the best eveeer. And if you can get aloe vera with cucumber extract it cools the skin esp on humid weather. I swear by this coz I live in hot place and have oily skin. It's affordable and so skin friendly. I buy mine at a local natural beauty store at 20$ for 300ml. I use it on my face, hair and general skin esp sensitive parts. Thank me later. Ensure it's pure aloe gel without any alcohol. Must be 100% natural.
So happy to find your video for sweat proof makeup, oily skin and sweaty face - that’s me!! Question: can you use the same setting power (already using O/S setting powder) as a translucent power?
I'm so happy you found the video 😊 The O/S powder is super lightweight and lightly pigmented, so you can definitely use it as you would a translucent powder
I’m a Clinique girl. I use no other products I especially love my Clinique Smart moisturizer. But I can never find the right foundation. Thank you for showing the Clinique foundation
Omg thank you so much for this 😍‼️literally my makeup we’re coming off especially where my upper lip is and made it look like I have a mustache 🥲 so so so thankful for you rn
This! Just what a woman needed. I am The CHAMP of hot flashes right now so I need waterproof everything on my face! Can you also do a vid on teeth whitening? You are always so thorough so I thought I might ask, lol! Thanks again. Blessings!!!
Hi! Can I use the same spray for before setting powder and for when I’m done ? I’m using the one size. Or should I use a more hydrating/dewy setting spray when I do the spray before setting powder? Really helpful video! Thank you!
Thank you! I've been sweating like a race horse lately!! Didn't know why and how to stop it... 2 weeks ago, I found out I was pregnant and THAT IS WHY, lol 😂.. Now I know how to stop it. THANK YOU from a Mommy2B ❤
Speaking of moisturizing the skin. I noticed when I apply oil too that gives a sweaty look. Chicago weather be messing me up 😂😂 although it’s Summer we have crazy weather. Now I shop my stash & put my oils up and check the damn weather 😂 Since I have low iron ( looking dull or lighter ) Luminous Primers been doing me justice. Then I add a Matte Primer : Patrick Starr Secure 🔥🔥🙌 with my Nyx Bare with setting Spray 💓💕 My favorite Setting powder been Huda Beauty COFFEE CAKE!!!! 😩🙌💓
I have not any translucent powder! But I have 'Revolution banana baking powder/Maybelline new york oil control compact' can I use these in my oily skin for sweatproof makeup??? 😢
Ok weird Q maybe,( I only do my eyes sometimes and my lips) Do you need foundation AND concealer? And what's the difference? I tried foundation a couple of times but am sweaty and every time mini sweat bubbles peak through. Luckily I don't need makeup but I want to sometimes, but just don't know how with my skin :')
Start with a setting spray, then primer, then whatever you already do (no concealer? Don’t use it), and powder after all your liquid/cream products are on.
@@Ganjaqueen92 let me know how it works for you!! If I want it to last longer, I put setting spray on again after powder in high humidity, and generally don’t use powder in the winter because it dries my skin. And, pro tip, don’t powder your eyeshadow 😇
Sis - unless I’ve miss them in all videos, WHY do you never put on sunscreen? As a woman of color, it’s such an important part of skin care. Plus I want to know how and what to use!
The method of setting your face before makeup never works. That is what causes the separation of my makeup and I’ve used various kinds of setting Powder.
Thanks for the tutorial. You did something in the tutorial that you did not explain. After the first setting spray you then reset your under eyes and sprayed the same one again. You then used the one size as your finishing spray. So do you think resetting with powder and spraying again is needed for anti sweat make up? Also when you say finishing spray, do u typically use a matte setting spray for that? I was surprised since you have stated that you have dry skin
To ensure that my makeup looks natural and stays in place, I spray setting spray on my skin twice. I also discuss in the video the various finishing sprays that are available and how I choose which one to use based on the desired finish. Skin type isn't a significant factor in this process.
This routine didn’t work for me, I was looking for something better than what I do, but what I do does generally hold everywhere but where my glasses sit. *If you know you’re gonna reallyyyyy sweat, use all dewy or illuminating products to make it look more intentional!* 1. Apply your setting spray. This will help to reduce the oils in your skin by creating a barrier, the same way using it as a final step locks the makeup in. I use NYX, and haven’t found a difference between matte or dewy. 2. Get a very grippy primer. Use it. Do not use a silicone primer! (If you do eyes before face, do your eyes with a good primer - I loooove the Morphe one and swear by it for oily lids). 3. Apply your foundation lightly and build your coverage only as needed. Light layers are your bestie. Likewise with any liquid or cream products. 4. Powder. I love the colourpop filter thing one. 5. Setting spray. 6. Powder products. 7. Setting spray. Since you’re layering this way, you want to go light, it’ll be a full beat if that’s what you want at the end. Pinky swear. Respect to this creator, but when she put powder over her primer I had to stop and check out the comments. If it works for you - great! If not, try this 🤷
Great info, making the excess sweating stop within 2 days was so much more than I expected, I went with what I talked about last week and after the first day or so I was very surprised to start feeling much more comfortable and dry! I went ahead and go'ogled Cynthia Yulesin’s Stop Sweating Today and after 72 hours I now sweat like a “normal” person lol
