- Today we are in Walt Disney World riding all the rides at Disney's Magic Kingdom! Specifically we are doing the Disney After Hours Magic Kingdom event. For 3 hours we get the park to ourselves, can we do all the rides?!

The Carousel of Progress is FOREVER! It is HISTORICAL! My family was asked to do a survey in the 80's, outside the ride, "to keep it or close it?" My parents were born in the 20's, my siblings were born in the 50's, and I was born in the 60's. We all 1st saw it together in the 70's. So, we ALL VOTED SAVE IT! The Disney cast member loved having a family spread out over those years. She even made us sign our names next to our reviews & why...Yes, the ending needs updated to modern Tech. I will say, I still have that 1950's fridge used as a cupboard in my basement, I have a working mangle (does wonders with tables cloths), & 2 working shaking machines. (True: not great as an exercise machine, but if you have a sore neck, back, leg, or calf? It still does the trick!) Love this attraction!

Im flying to WDW just for carousel of progress! It is my childhood and I will definitely cry! I grew up going to Disneyland and I never thought I would see carousel again. Call me crazy but I don’t care!

Having worked at WDW for 43 years and counting (starting in the Magic Kingdom in 1980 -- 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea), it's fun to watch you cover so many familiar places so enthusiastically. Keep up the good work!
I’ll never forget hitting up Hollywood studios on a Saturday night by myself last year and walking on Slinky Dog, Millenium Falcon and Rise while everyone was busy watching Fantasmic. It was like having the park to myself.
Awww.. I wish you liked Carousel of Progress. It is one of my favorite attractions. It may be the memories of my friends and I riding and singing along and noticing the long meeeeeeeeeeee....... going from the last scene to the end. Anyhow love your vlogs Jojo.

I'm glad you said you enjoyed the Carousel of Progress AFTER riding it. I've always found that ride to be a relaxing way to 'get away' from all the hub-bub, noise and crowds in the park AND BE educated at the same time. A good piece of American history is portrayed in there. The ride is relaxing, educational and fun. I'm glad it is still in operation!

Go on rides like small world and COP and teacups and see the rides that close (like Belle) before the exclusive event starts ..it’s still a very economical way to experience MK !! It’s like park pass and Genie+ and LL in one price !!

i was thrilled with the ride that i like it.
There’s nothing better than seeing the fireworks on a ride. My favs are big thunder and 7DMT for firework viewage.
And also the original Small World at the ‘64 world fair went to Disneyland not WDW
The after hours parties are the best, I prefer them over the holiday parties. They seem way less crowded to me and you’re not worried about party exclusives and entertainment so you can truly just do all the rides. We saw you last year in February at the MK after hours party but we didn’t say hi, wish we would have. Another great video

The People Mover is another way to sit down and relax while the park 'moves around you.' Many great views and it's 'covered' so on rainy days, you're still dry when it's over!

See, this is why I want to go just to a late night party. I prefer nights at parks. That was amazing riding the ride during the fireworks.. it was so Magical 🎉❤

Disneyland was the original small world
I think he meant version of the ride, not actual ride. Cause the other parks have hidden Disney characters and we're the only ones that are like the ride initially was, without the Disney animated characters.

Oh no! Shame JoJo! The people mover is a classic! Its objective is the origin of Disney Parks, like the people mover. It’s like going home for a holiday, it isn’t something we want to do, but, it reminds us of who we are and where we come from!
We’re doing this in a few weeks and this video just got me extra hyped for it! Definitely gonna go at a slightly slower pace and get my snacks though! 😂
