FYI for anybody who has polygel that is stubborn at coming out of the tube or is very thick and stiff you can run the tube under warm water for a couple of seconds to warm it up and make it easier to come out.

Kizzy Watkins yes but make sure the water is not too hot cuz it’ll make the polygel runny so try warm water for about 10-30 seconds

stay practicing !!! it will become easier in time :) i used to not be able to paint regular polish with my dominant hand and now im out here with gel and acrylic!
Yes just keep practicing. You could also try using gel polish: when you mess up you can wipe it away, or use another brush to clean up the edges before you cure.

Girl I have never had the patience for nails other than to teach them to my students. I have to teach standard acrylics and I’m not a huge fan of the smell, so I was happy when you said that this one smelled nice!

AlwayzShaye do you have an electric drill? I find filing the product down and then soaking once usually takes everything off pretty quickly!
Mia Cross I did have an electric drill since I was a beginner I wasn’t sure how much I should file off, obviously the product but I filed too much and my nails are just now recovering so I’m just sticking with gel manicures at home 😔.

I LOVE IT, I never tried Makart yet, but these were easy, I have a rainbow / fruit design.
(ie Red/ orange =watermelon & orange, orange & yellow with, lemon & orange, yellow & green w/ lemon, lime/kiwi, green & blue w/ kiwi & blueberry & blue & purple with blueberry & grapes)

WOW those are gorgeous! I wish I could sport talons like that. But in my job, I'd have them snapped off in about 4 seconds :-( You did give me an idea though. I found some polygel-type product on sale on Aliexpress last year, so I bought 10 containers of it. I also picked up some pigment powders and empty jars. I'm going to mix the pigments with the gel (clear) and try it as you did. They should come out like stained glass tips on pink bases. I just love your videos, and much prefer your videos to the big-name professional salon ladies. You are much easier to follow and understand. I have also made some of the errors you have made and corrected them as you have. The salon gals usually edit out their errors and corrections, leading the average-Jane to believe they never make a mistake. Keep up the good work Miss LongHairPrettyNails!

I recently just bought the build your own kit from glam and glits, so be my first time working with acrylic 🙃 I've been using builder gel and polygel for a while so I wanted to get deeper into the nail game lol. I may try this kit tho those colors are really nice for polygel.

Whenever i get my naisl done, theyre always so hard. My fingers have even started bleeding, and every other time my fingers ache so horeibly. First time i got acrylics, i went to a horrible nail place. It had great reviews, it had horrible reviews. Apparently i went on a bad day, because my fingers were burning and aching, and the beds of my nails felt tortured during the whole thing.
It looks so gentle when you do it, and I wish i had gotten to go to a salon that was a bit gentler n my first try, but... Idk. Ig that just isnt a thing in southern Kansas.
