I worked for Appen since 2019 and even though back then their platform was underdeveloped, Appen was an excellent company that provided a variety of opportunities to make money, but ever since 2021 Appen has not been the ideal company to rely on. As time has gone by, Appen has focused on establishing more AI project availability outside the United States. Appen's United States market is dry and it does not look hopeful.

I think it sucks dirty donkey parts lol. It says you get accepted to a project and then when you go to do the work, it literally says the project is closed. Then, you get messages telling you to get to work on those closed projects. Whaaaaaaat?

When they had Shasta and a couple of other projects it was worth it. Not now though, they don't have much anymore. I used to make as much as you did but now these projects are not as good.

Hi, thanks for your question. First I would not suggest for someone to quit their job for this platform simply because these projects can end abruptly without advanced notice. That’s my 2 cents but the choice is yours obviously. But I would say I put in about 15 hours/week so about 60 hours/month. I hope that’s helpful.

My advice, do not hang out with people who are telling you they dont do this or that anymore because of their age. That is toxic. Good evening. I m sorry to make questions unrelated to the topic of the video but I need help with the invoicing process. I have been working on a project on the Appen platform for more than a month and this particular project requires making manual invoices. When I try to create an invoice I have to select the invoice billing month but it only will allow me to select until August 2023wich is useless because I began to work on the project in November 2023. Also, there is not a list with the available projects of the platform only a white bar that doesn't show any project. I know that this type of issue is solved through tickets but I have sent more than 6 tickets and the issues are still there. Thank you very much.
Hi, not all jobs on Appen require you to take an exam. From my experience there are some that have you take a short quiz and some that have long exams that can take a couple of hours. But I try my best to find the short quiz or no exam jobs. In this contributor account the user interface is different from connect.appen. So my question goes like this. Tell me the difference between appen connect and appen contributor, which one is the best, like from your video it’s appen connect. Hey bruh! Thanks for the information I’m given an appen account and the url says appen.contributor it says to be contributor account.
In this contributor account the user interface is different from connect.appen. So my question goes like this. Tell me the difference between appen connect and appen contributor, which one is the best, like from your video it’s appen connect.
If possible make a video on the difference of appen connect and appen contributor stating the difference and which one you’ve worked for the past 5 years. I have a problem here, I think my account is appen contributor is not taking me to the appen connect user interface
