I like how Jason washes his own car and helps with the tint on his own car. Shows that he loves what he does and loves his guys and appreciate them unlike other owners they give you the keys to their car and family’s cars like your a their personal butler. Wish I was in Chicago I would apply in a heartbeat.

I had my Model 3 window tint done here a few years ago and it made a huge difference. The guys did a great job.
this made me wanna drive all the way from Maryland to Chicago just to get your top notch + OCD detail treatment.
i came to say this same thing, but not Maryland, West Coast
They have to detail because of the mess they cause while putting on the tint
So even though this is the bosses car, I see the same level of quality go in other customers cars in other videos. Great job!

@@ChicagoAutoPros As a test I intentionally spilled red wine on my white seats and let it sit for 5 mins. Wiped right off with wet wipes. If it's for your peace of mind though, you do you :) Either way, the white seats are the best, by far.

I gotta learn that technique of rolling up the rear/windscreen. I usually peel the screen, pick it up and climb into car. Pita with tesla screen though. Gotta be one of the hardest screens to do.

I'm getting my Model 3 tinted on Tuesday with the same film. 20% all around and 70% windshield. Also wrapped in Satin black!

I like the 20%, Texas does not permit 5% for regular vehicles
it looks amazing - not a fan of tinting usually but on the black tesla it looks great - all you need now is a red light on the frunk lid like Knight Rider

I would've put 15% window tint on the car. Have a question. Did you all put the window on the outside of the car? Also what do think of ceramic tint. I was told it better than regular tint. I was given a 2000 Toyota Camry LE by my cousin it was his father's Camry. It needs a lot of work. I'm the 4th owner of the Camry trying to undo what they haven't done. I'm a beginner detailer. I watch your videos. They're great videos. I'm learning.
I hear tinting the rear window can cause it to crack on the model 3, a local tinter in my area rejected my car because of that issue

You’re going to be super happy with the results. Unfortunately I scuffed up my right front fender, so after it’s repainted I’ll be making another trip to Glenview, but I know they’ll make it look good as new. I’ll have them detail my car in the spring, too. Honestly I don’t think I would take it anywhere else, because I know these guys are gonna take care of my car!

Great work! Very professional and looks as good as you can want. FYI, the seats aren’t leather. Just so you know when you go to protect them, don’t treat them as you would if they were leather.
We all know there veagan leather. But you still treat them like real leather. Same goes with vinyl.

It's too light brother lol. You need 5% all around with a full 20% windshield minimum for your light interior and glass roof lol. Visibility ain't a concern when the car drives itself! (kidding)
It looks good but they did nothing to keep the interior clean or protected during the tinting process. Water was getting all over the doors and seats. As a customer, would you want that?

When the rear window is done on the tesla model 3 in a single piece , they plot it ? When stretched on the glass roof surface to prep for installation, is there a razor knife involved that could be used to cut excess film before the roll up ?
You guys cut from the DAP,.but extend the material on the top and sides to be able to shave the edges?

lucky you. here you are only allowed to tint the rear window and the side windows in the back. nothing at all in the front.

Shopping around for window tint for my 22 Model Y. I’ve had a few shops unwillingly to tint the windshield. Is that more of a testament to the shops ability to tint or should I be more concerned about ruining my vehicles computer?

Whats the irr of the 70% xpel xr plus, without the glass, only the film sheet?

Does Xpel have film that would match the brown color tone of Nissan Pathfinder SUV ? The Xpel products I have seen looks Bluish Grey not Brownish like the factory tint.

Any particular reason you selected Xpel Prime XR Plus as opposed to the other high quality film brand from the past? Seems Xpel tint sells itself one of the reasons I have it in my shop demo
They don’t even protect your door panels like other shops. Wouldn’t take my car to them.
