Curbtender Packed Out

- After multiple requests, more hopper footage has been brought to the table. I haven't posted a video yet where the truck is packing out so I wanted to post just that. Here we have the usual curbtender packing on some yard waste. I wanted to finish the rest of this one area and not have to go back to it since 1 section and then the other section are about 15 minutes apart from each other. Got it all on barely. It starts out where the packer is still able to go far enough into the body where you can see the end of the followers and the video finally ends where the first follower can't even fully extend into the hopper it was so full. This video takes place at about 275 carts on it and I added about 100-120 carts over the course of the video so that should give a pretty good idea of how fast the truck can go from packing just fine to completely stuffed. If you're wondering why at the end all of the lids are open on the carts, I was doing that on purpose to allow the yard waste to hopefully fall out easier and slide to the back of the hopper instead of being held in the cart by the lid being closed. I know that Curbtenders pack pretty good but if they could put a hydraulic crusher/pack assist on them they'd pack more efficiently. I mean you could probably use the hopper covers to push the load down but it would end up messing them up...I know this because I've seen it mess up the hopper cover on a Heil Durapack sideloader.
Awesome hopper video dude! first time I’ve seen one of these curbtender packers actually go against the load and back continuously. Always enjoy the manual packing and sucks the throttle don’t work when the arm is in motion, slows you down lol

Also about your custom first gear style trucks, what material do you use, what 3D printer do you use? What software do you use to make the bins? Is it possible I could buy some from you? How much does the material cost?

Wonderfull video.Question dose the city or county compost the green waste? Seems like the people should do more composting at home.They compost our leaves in my town the city dose.Also they got some kinda machine here that they put the wood limbs into and burn them don't know what its called or how it works but guessing uses a blower to speed the burn process up.I burn a woodstove and only ever have brush on the curb..Thanks enjoyed the video

only tine they make 1 load by me is if it rains lol nobody puts yard waste out im gonna say you put least 11 tons on that bad boy don't have to worry about getting ticket for over weight they never stop yard waste trucks for inspection cops don't want to get all the juices on them lol
David Schieler bingo, 11 tons spot on actually. We’re legally allowed 15 but the material right now just springs back and forth since it’s so dry.
