Nice one mate, definitely going back in summer to see some of the other sites in the park. There's a 'special tree' in there somewhere, and a few other scenic parts. Thanks for watching.
Outstanding mate, I used to go to Caderstones Park all the time, my parents grew up round there and my grandparents lived round there, my mothers parents moved away in the mid 70s. The first time I’d ever heard of the Calder Stones was in your video about the Robin Hood stone. I’d never even considered how the park was named, very interesting mate, I’m feeling to need to visit there and see them now. I’m not convinced by the JL graffiti though…….. 🤣 👍👍👍👍👍
R u going back to do the rest? There is an important old tree in Calderstones with lots of history too. Took my children the reader when they were little, its very nice. The Cornish ice cream place at the back too. Been ages since I been.
Thank you really enjoyed that, that was a real trip back in time. I lived close to Calderstones Park when I was a kid but moved away in 1970, I was back for a bit in 2023 and once again spent some time in the park it really is a beautiful place I can see why John Lennon would try to recreate it elsewhere. Good to see the value of those old stones has been recognised
I visited a few sites in Cornwall many years ago! They have a few Neolithic burial sites with so-called Dolmen portal stones that were used to form a burial chamber and then originally covered with earth! One of the most famous is Lanyon Quoit and another is Trethevy Quoit! Thanks, mate!
I love your soft accent. You sound more Lancashire / Cheshire if I may say? I'm Huyton-with-Roby Lancashire originally. You have a lovely personality. Well done your parents 👏 👏 👏
Some history there mate. It is a Lovely park, those Trees look amazing and a real nice place to have a walk around and just enjoy.

Nice one mate. I touched the initials and I heard the word 'imagine' so I'm sticking with it 100% being John Lennon's scribble :)
