Just dropped my XR650R fully loaded with fuel and gear. The handlebar bash guard landed directly on my big toe. I was wearing the older version of the Crossfires. Glad I was. Almost certainly stopped a break. Always go for the best quality, even if you're "just ADV riding". These new ones with the carbon toes look like they would have done an even better job.
I have the Atojo and really like them. I wear a 11.5 and a narrow foot and these fit like a glove and are really comfortable.

Crossfire TA all the way👌
I have narrow feet, which is why I want to try sidi next time I get boots
replaceable sole is all good until the glue fails on on the major sole which happened to my crossfire 3 srs
Are they waterproof?
No Sidi motocross boots are completely waterproof. They should be more than fine for stream crossings and things like that though.
Is the Atojo discontinued for 2024?
Not that I'm aware of. All the ATOJO boots we have are current with plenty in stock. - Chase
I can't get me in them! too narrow.
