My confusion starts at 8:15 😓😫. I made 8 granny squares. I stopped at the 7th row of each. I understand the mechanics of attaching the squares. But I'm not sure how to make the bottom 4 connected at the bottom with the granny clusters. If that makes any sense. I'm gonna try again.
You make one granny square with all 8 rows. For the other three, you attach them as you complete the 8th row by completing a granny cluster and then slip stitch into the matching space on the fully completed granny square along one side, then complete the remainder of the 8th row as normal.
You can attach the granny squares anyway you prefer (mattress stitch, slip stitch etc). If you choose to do it a different way from how I did, just complete all 8 rows as normal and then seam them together. I just hate sewing them so I did it this way lol
I used almost an entire skein of the crème color and then maybe a fourth of each other color. I have made three now and still have plenty of my colors left for another!
I can’t wait to try this!! I’ve been looking for a pattern with the right style
I love the design so so much! I'm definitely going to try it through vacation :D Thank you for the tutorial~~
Yay glad you love it! It’s really fun to make :) I am on my fourth one currently
