- The Sapporo Snow Festival is back after 3 years and I have been so excited to visit it again after the break! ⛄️ 🎊
So if you are planning to visit the festival over the next week, I hope this video will help you a little bit about what to expect, as this year's festival is quite a bit different from the previous years 😉
What is different? Well, for one there are only two not three festival sites. All the activities were canceled. Second, there used to be a lot of shows, like snow board jumping ect and also these are not happening this year at the Sapporo Snow Festival. But last but not least, there is no food. Yes, you heard right, there will be no food outlets at the festival, which I personally am really sad about. It does feel more like an exhibition than an actual festival without all the tasty treats and beverages (to be honest that actually might be my favorite part of it...).
So if you like to see what the festival is like this year, then check out this video and I hope you enjoy!

I thought the video was going to be about haunted houses at first! 😁
hahaha, I think I might have to change the thumbnail then 😅
amazing
Thank you!
Im a subcsriber. Im watching always. Im travelling to Japan March 01, 2023. 🇯🇵😂😊❤️
Thank you for watching! Great to hear your coming to Japan too :)
Where abouts will you visit?
Japanese culture is so interesting to me. The dichotomy of history and the contemporary culture is so cool. I love ice carvings too. We are both ecological anthropologists. Bear studies food culture and food production, and I am a sustainability archaeologist. As such, we love to meet and support creators and guides who share the history, culture, food, and nature on social media. Love what you are doing and hope you might like ours too. Cheers! - Turtle
