Speaking of dark dolls, i’d love to see the dark version of persephone this winter. She’s still one of my favorite dolls of yours and I’ve been dying to see her goth wife version lol
I'd love to see the Snow Queen from the Hans Anderson fairy tale. The story slways captured my imaginstion as a child. I realise that Frozen was originally supposed to be based on that story, but then Disney changed it anyway. I wonder if the white witch from Narnia was based on the Snow Queen too. There are striking similarities when I read both stories. I think it would be great as a historical winter doll. The snow queen was first published in 1844.
My favourite adaptation is the cartoon from 1957, Снежная королева (The Snow Queen). Even though she looks so simple, she is still the most beautiful Snow Queen for rme :-)

Hi there Marina! First of all: thank you for sharing your hard work to us, I absolute VALUE and ADORE your beautiful doll’s Art! It is the first time I write a comment on your channel. I love it, btw! I was watching the making of these cute one (LOVE THE HAIR), and when you were applying the dark “mask” onto her eyes, it suddenly reminded me Pris, the Replicant from the movie “Blade Runner” (the one from 1982), performed by Daryl Hannah. :) And here is my suggestion: it would be very interesting and wonderful to see iconic female movie characters. I just do not mean just super heroes, villains or things like that. Here are some examples: the Pink Ladies from “Grease”, Mary Poppins, Jessica Chanstain on “Crimson Peak”, Frankenstein’s Bride, Liza Minnelli on “Cabaret”, Maria from “Metropolis”…. and musicals (from any decade) can be a good inspiration (Chicago, Moulin Rouge, Velvet goldmine, My Fair Lady….). Cheers, keep on working as good as you always do, and big kisses and regards from Barcelona. 😁❤️
Wow! I really like how she turned out! I love dolls like this! They look like they have an interesting backstory and a bit of magic about them. You make me anxious to get my craft/sewing room set back up after an emotional, grueling move. You always inspire, so thanks!
Thank you Maryna for another amazing creation ❤️ So many fantastic details to enjoy and admire from the tattoos, animal skulls and the unique drum. I also love how you created the dreadlocks, there’s so many ways you can customise them. I’m so excited to see what surprises you have in store for the Christmas dolls 🥰🎄☃️
I agree, this is definitely one of your best dolls! I would love it if you made a Poison Ivy doll! Maybe you could do a hippie version of Poison Ivy. You would have a lot of creative freedom that way and it would fit her character.
for more dolls with locs, it would suit the style much better to create a Black or dark skinned doll ❤️ would look so pretty, and look much more natural than on a white doll. can't wait to see what's next, very excited for the spooky dolls collection! 🎃👻
Please do look into the history of locs. Locs have a long history of being seen from the Ancient Greeks to Rastafari to Indigenous Peoples in America to Ancient Romans to Vikings and ancient Russians. Locs are not Black. Braids are not Black. They are global and beautiful.
I think this is one of my favorite designs you’ve ever done! I love the recreation of known characters, but your original fantasy designs are the best!❤️❤️❤️
gorgeous doll as always! I really loved how the dreadlocks turned out too, excited to see more of them in the future. Something Id be curious to see is your take/interpretation of the swedish Lucia/saint Lucy, who is usually depicted as blond pressumably to go with her figure as the bride of light (as some poems describe her) or queen of light (as others do) and not really have any dark colours in her typical depiction, tho today haircolour ofc doesnt matter in who gets chosen. Although the celebration in sweden is generally separated from any religion its a sort of cozy family thing to watch the tv special in the morning while having a breakfast of saffronbunns and some families even do the singing theselves. Often the lyrics of the songs and general sentiment of the celebration is to recall that the equinox is comming and soon there will be lighter days as for most of the country its dark when they go to school/work, and dark when they come home, and any daylight they may see would be during the lunchbreak. Any how, that turned into a cultural ramble, but Id love to see your take on her as a character who is a sort of gentle bringer of light.
Марина! Спасибо! Кроме того, что Шаманка совершенно обалденная, меня потряс Ваш взгляд скульптора - увидели красоту лица и подходящую форму обуви там, где я увидела только цвет...
Yes, yes, YES, YEEEESSSS!!!!! I'm totally here for it!!! Spooky season is on, baby, all year round!!!! This doll is everything!!!! Love the dreads, love the tattoos, love the outfit, love the accessories... And for the winter/Christmas yet spooky, why not a zombie Santa?
I love her hair it’s beautiful!! For the holidays specials I think Cindy Low Who from the Grinch movie would be the cutest ever! I know just those hairstyles themselves are some massive projects but I’m sure you could handle them xx
Считаю эту куклу одной из лучших ваших проектов!!! Она очень атмосферная. Настоящая шаманка) Браво! Вначале были сомнения по поводу эксперимента с волосами, но оказалось, что вышло все просто чудесно.
Mrs. Atelier, I have found the if you use Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser, it removes permanent marker. Also, for the body paint on the larger MH Dolls, it is so easy to wipe away. Give it a try. Just cut down one of the sponges and it should be more cost efficient as you can use the sponge on multiple projects. Let me know what you think😁👍
I'd love to see you use LOL dolls for a whole series of Christmas ornaments. Someone down here suggested things like Holly and Mistletoe. Maybe even Star, Angel, all those typical Christmas elements but with your twist (Gingerbread? Reindeer? Santa?) I don't even celebrate Christmas but I just know they'll be so cute!
Hey here are some Doll Ideas, Dark themed: Slavic mytholohy like Russalka (the orignal one that lives in rivers) the Sisters Poludnitsya & Kupalnitsya, Kikimora etc. For the Holiday Themed Dolls: Nutcracker Doll An Elf St. Lucia Snegurochka
Yes, that is a good look. I don't do repaints myself, but I love watching what you do. I liked what you did with a small scrap of leather. I have a small doll, doll collection in which I make costumes for them all the time. I often take a small scrap of leather, or other sturdy material, and snip here with a few stitches there and so on until I have another costume. It is fun to do. Doll ideas: a Christmas Angel, but not traditional. Instead she is going to an adult costume party showing some skin, and mistletoe in her hair with glittery wings... but I am sure you have better ideas. Good luck.
For winter, what about a yuki-onna? A snow maiden from Japanese folklore. It’s a dark thing, because they’re yokai and therefore usually malicious, but they’re beautiful and delicate and wintery.
Wow, that little doll used 100 dreadlocks! Labor of love. This doll is very creative; I would never have thought of a Shaman doll, just beautiful. Have a great weekend, xoxo's Sandie
This will probably not get any attention but for winter, as there is going to be 2022 Olympics I would love to see an ice fiure skater doll, baesed on a real skater. There is a lot going on in the sport right now, there are girls making history, competing with very difficult elements, doing jumps that not long ago only men could do. Also figure skating dresses are pretty and it would porobably be fun to make one, maybe....
OMG! I've been such a fan all my life! Just finished watching the free programs at the NHK Trophy in Tokyo! I made a figure skater doll 4 years ago for the last Olympics and it wasn't really popular here :D But I'm so happy to meet a soulmate!

Wow!!! She is so INCREDIBLE! The amount of loving details you craft into your dolls always makes my hands itch to try this doll customizing myself! The boots are from Ici Dawndancer, a deer doll and the only MH I owned for years because I collect deer/reindeer. For now, I have too many blank Ball-Jointed dolls needing faceups and your work will get me going on them once we move and I have my own studio space to work. Thank you for sharing your processes here! You and other customizers spark my creativity!

I'm watching you every day right before falling asleep So I'm forced to rewatch all of your videos multiple times, and I've noticed such huge improvements in every aspect of your doll making and video creation The last like 4-5 ish videos especially were on a whole different level. They feel so, so well made and the dresses and dolls are just a dream. You still have the same approach of trying and learning new things, but your skill has improved so, so much. And allowing yourself to do more of what you feel like doing and giving yourself a bit more time between uploads seems to have only helped To me the best videos are all the ones where you're doing things you really wanted to do for a while They're always super cool projects and your narration and video making is a lot better when you reeally enjoy the project Keep at it you absolute legend and thank you for being my comforting, relaxing bedtime story every night It's been at least a year and by now it almost feels like your my mom bringing me to bed xD

So happy you mentioned Bernadette, my other favourite youtuber :) As for winter dolls, maybe Tilda Swinton's portrayal of The White Whitch (Chronicles of Narnia)?

I think Anastasia (from the animation movie) would be cool for a winter project! She has a song "once upon a desember" :) This doll is so cool, she reminds me a bit of Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn with the red dreads. She would be a super cool doll too! But maybe a bit too similar as this shaman in style. But I would love to see how you make her bow and such. Well, I hope these suggestions will be inspiring and useful to you.
She is absolutely amazing. I love the feathers in her red dreaded hair. Perfect.
Would love to see you do a Viking. That would be awesome
Vikings are/were Pagans! So technically this could have been a Viking had it been done correctly :)
Amazing as always!
I’d love to see a Lagarther Doll from the Vikings series xx
I agree, this is definitely one of your best dolls! I would love it if you made a Poison Ivy doll! Maybe you could do a hippie version of Poison Ivy. You would have a lot of creative freedom that way and it would fit her character.
for more dolls with locs, it would suit the style much better to create a Black or dark skinned doll ❤️ would look so pretty, and look much more natural than on a white doll.
can't wait to see what's next, very excited for the spooky dolls collection! 🎃👻
Thank you for saying locs!
Holiday suggestion: Anastasia! She's the perfect winter princess, once upon a December and all.
This hair matches the beauty of your Marie Antoinette doll. I still watch that video all the time because she's my favorite doll you've made.
I'm also still thinking about that doll! Should make something else in this style with a big dress and big hair
@@PoppenAtelier Yes, please!!!!
gorgeous doll as always!
Absolutely stunning. She’s gorgeous. I love it. I love your idea for a Viking doll with white dreadlocks for winter!
Reindeer? Santa?)
I don't even celebrate Christmas but I just know they'll be so cute!
Hey here are some Doll Ideas,
Dark themed: Slavic mytholohy like Russalka (the orignal one that lives in rivers) the Sisters Poludnitsya & Kupalnitsya, Kikimora etc.
For the Holiday Themed Dolls:
Nutcracker Doll
An Elf
St. Lucia
Snegurochka
I come across your channel by accident, I am glad I discovered you. You are so talented and creative, also your accent is the best.
Good luck.
Oh i love how she turned out! Very cool how the nail art makes tattoos.
For winter, what about a yuki-onna? A snow maiden from Japanese folklore. It’s a dark thing, because they’re yokai and therefore usually malicious, but they’re beautiful and delicate and wintery.
Quelle patience, quelle précision et quelle passion vous avez ! Woaw ! Je suis admirative du travail fourni et de votre habilité ! Bravo !
OMG I totally agree, probably the best hairstyle you ever made! I'm so in love with it 😍
Wow, that little doll used 100 dreadlocks! Labor of love. This doll is very creative; I would never have thought of a Shaman doll, just beautiful.
Have a great weekend,
xoxo's Sandie
So excited you are continuing with the darker doll makeovers! She is beautiful. Can't wait to see what more you have in mind! 💜🧡
I love all the different cultural/mythological/spiritual dolls you make. They’re my favorite!!! 😍
@@PoppenAtelier how did that escape me? I guess I haven't been subscribed that long... I got into watchng figure skating after a video of Yulia Lipnitskaya poped up on my feed somewhere so it hasn't been that long. It is an exciting season!
Wow!!! She is so INCREDIBLE! The amount of loving details you craft into your dolls always makes my hands itch to try this doll customizing myself! The boots are from Ici Dawndancer, a deer doll and the only MH I owned for years because I collect deer/reindeer. I now have a pre-loved one to customize because her antlers really need to be on her head, not her headband. For now, I have too many blank Ball-Jointed dolls needing faceups and your work will get me going on them once we move and I have my own studio space to work. Thank you for sharing your processes here! You and other customizers spark my creativity!
This doll is absolutely gorgeous! I would love to see you make a male doll one day!!! Perhaps hades to go w your Persephone doll!!
Yes yes, please do a viking doll. Also a female pirate would be a good one
Can't wait to see how will the doll turn out
YES SAME
She's awesome! It's hard for me to think about winter themed ideas because it's coming into summer in the southern hemisphere so we're hot and muggy right now. Ooh, what about a summer Christmas themed doll? That's something a lot of people in the northern hemisphere would never have experienced. :-) Love from New Zealand
For a winter doll could you do a winter witch like a person who’s skin is covered in frost ?
I would absolutely love love love to see your take on a Viking type doll !!! I think you would make such a very stunningly cool Viking doll !!
Love the way the shaman girl turned out and those dreads look very pretty :)
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow amazing. I love her so much such a beautiful doll. I'd love to see your version of the maiden mother crone. The triple goddesses. Each represents different stages of the seasons. Maiden spring, mother summer and crone autumn/winter. Xx love your vids.
I love this channel and watch it often. I want to make a recommendation for the future. If you are going to create a doll directly based off a religion or culture that is unknown to you, like shamanism, please do your research and share with us. I think it would make the videos much more interesting and also show that you respect the culture from which you are borrowing inspiration.
I love her! She looks like a wild fantasy DnD character! How fun!
I'd love to see Raven from Teen Titans as a doll!🖤
It'd be so cool to see the whole team! BTW I love your profile picture. I just read Raven, Beast Boy, and the Raven and Beast Boy comics not too long ago. They're so good! I love how their lives have been reimagined for modern day.
WOW! Wicked and beautiful! 😍
When you said Christmas ideas and dreadlocks it made me think of a krampus doll. Would love to see that.
So glad you love Bernadette. You are both wonderful tanents, in different ways. Love you both! Thank you for your content. So interesting and inspiring.
I'm so early! I always look forward to your videos,I love your work! Just like the rest, she's awesome! Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
Thank you so much!
Oh Hey! It's Bernadette :D That's such an effective way to do a Skillshare ad!
Your doll creations continue to amaze me, every doll is more and more beautiful ❤️
I would love to see you go back to using more Barbie Made to Move dolls Maryna, or something different altogether! The MH dolls have such a specific body shape and face mold proportions that they can all have a similar look, it's always nice to see some variety! Also I hope you do a couple of lovely holiday dolls before the end of the year, your light-up dome doll last year was dreamy!
She does live in Belgium, and I think some brands/types of dolls are hard to get your hands on there
I'm watching you every day right before falling asleep
So I'm forced to rewatch all of your videos multiple times, and I've noticed such huge improvements in every aspect of your doll making and video creation
The last like 4-5 ish videos especially were on a whole different level. They feel so, so well made and the dresses and dolls are just a dream.
You still have the same approach of trying and learning new things, but your skill has improved so, so much.
And allowing yourself to do more of what you feel like doing and giving yourself a bit more time between uploads seems to have only helped
To me the best videos are all the ones where you're doing things you really wanted to do for a while
They're always super cool projects and your narration and video making is a lot better when you reeally enjoy the project
Keep at it you absolute legend and thank you for being my comforting, relaxing bedtime story every night
It's been at least a year and by now it almost feels like your my mom bringing me to bed xD
Have you ever thought about making a Violet Evergarden doll? I think it would turn out perfect and your mom would enjoy the challenge of making her intricate clothes.
This has to be one of the coolest dolls you've done!
Wow wow wow! This turned out amazing! I am a sucker for the dark dolls so I definitely do not mind at all. I absolutely love all your work. I would love to see your take on a Bellatrix Lestrange doll from Harry potter. She has such a unique look, or even a Trelawny doll. You did such a beautiful job on this🖤
I love this doll she is very beautiful. And I thought to my self she's gonna end up using at least 80 of the locks for her hair. I was close. But she's amazing, just beautiful. I so love your work.
She is very beautiful! She looks full of mysterious powers... Excellent conversion! For one of your next repaints how about "Väterchen Frost"? I don't know the exact term in english: something like "Jack Frost".
Loved Shaman doll.
Idea for a winter doll - Snegurochka (Снегурочка) in traditional slavic winter clothes
So happy you mentioned Bernadette, my other favourite youtuber :)
As for winter dolls, maybe Tilda Swinton's portrayal of The White Whitch (Chronicles of Narnia)?
you are already the 3rd person suggesting it today - and I really love the idea! completely forgotten about her!
This might be my favorite doll you've ever made! Love it!!!
A lot of the comments talk about not seeing enough dark skinned doll and I completely agree but there is also not enough male doll repaints in my opinion. Would you consider making a gender bent series of your previous reprints? I’d love to see you take on a male jellyfish doll or a merman 😍
So gorgeous, love the hair and her makeup, her shoes are great too😍😍😍!!!!
I absolutely love your videos and the absolutely stunning amazing art you do! I was wondering for some videos in the future could you make a Rose Titanic boarding outfit, Anastasia doll and a Disney Bell doll? You are such an inspiration to me! keep up the amazing work! 💖
I love scheepies yarn, it’s great for thick fluffy crochet projects x
Krampus for Christmas season, Cupid’s evil twin for Valentine’s Day, a leprechaun for March. Just to name a few.
Ooh, like the Leprechaun movies?? That would be sick!!
WOW!!! this was so stunningly beautiful. All your dolls are. Words cannot describe how awesomely incredible they are and your creative talent is something to be greatly admired and respected. BRAVO!!!!!
It's a really cool video game and Aloy is just the kind of character you would like I think :)
I love her!!! You are awesome!!! I love seeing your original concept dolls!!!
Pleeeeaase make Lagertha from Vikings if you're going to do a viking doll! She is such an icon
Yes 👏🏻
Still one of my favorites to this day lol. I’m rewatching last years spooky dolls over again haha
Can you PLEASEEEEEE do Marie Laveau. She is an important person in my culture! I think you would do her justice!
Yes 🔥
