I disagree. The store version would appeal to a child as that's the face women make when talking to a small child. The remake is a work of art and appeals more to adults.I don't think the store one is ugly .. but I wouldn't let a child play with the remake!
Most children I know try to make their dolls how they want to see them. I'm sure every parent here has had to repair or replace a doll whose hair was hacked off with scissors and face covered in sharpie/crayola makeup. I learned how to root doll hair fixing relatives dolls and how to paint makeup, though for me, I had to use dremel tools and sand the face to get the paints to stick, then seal it fully with heavy gloss, sand, then clear coat with a satin paint for durability because they got played with.
I was hoping that Poppen would redo these dolls ❤ I kept thinking how much she would improve them, and she went beyond my expectations. Quality went up 200%
A million times better than what came out of the box. It's disappointing for those who buy that version, especially if they have seen this one. A job well done 👏🏽 🪄✨️

Dress is gorgeous, crown... idk looks a lot like the crown from 1939 movie and face... its cute but still a little uncanny, maybe its just because of the detail on a short scale, beautiful work as always.
The way you create accessories like Glinda's crown is amazing! I've never been creative enough to design something like that with stuff just laying around my house. I can create many things but only if I have a set design or instructions to go on. You're amazing!

Dog that are mass produced to look like a certain celebrity usually look awful (Example: LA Cinderella or Belle) this was the only doll that looks decent both as a human (without giving a creep factor) and as a replication of the celebrity
Tbh I think she resembles the original actress for Glenda the Good Witch in the original Wizard of Oz, which i like a lot. Wonderful, magical work as always. ❤

You forgot to make the wand, her diamond earrings and the shoes. The doll and her dress are absolutely FABULOUS! However, she’s missing the three items I mentioned and if you made them, she would be PERFECT and COMPLETE! I absolutely love all your work, and enjoy your channel immensely.
