Yes totally agree- the curls seem to last two hours max- what is the temperature. All other GhDs are set at 185 Celsius.
I have an old GHD Platinum straightener and I have to say usually they really are phenomenal! I have super frizz prone thick wavy hair and they work significantly better and faster than other hairtools, the styles also last longer. Not really sure what was up in this video, maybe it was intentional so they could show off the product in more scenes? Agree though it’s rather counter productive.
She gotta invest in good quality hairspray. Hairsprays nowadays aren't all that crisp like in the 2000s. There are some that provide curl preservation but softness.

She’s probably continuously using it to advertise it, not because her hair isn’t setting right
While I realize that RUclipsrs are really one big advertisement, I think that you went a little overboard with the GHD unplugged curling iron. If I had to touch up my hair that many times a day, I wouldn’t think that the iron was doing a very good job. Love you and your authentically feminine style! 💖💖💖. Oh yes….Rose!!!

The amount of times you had to re-curl your hair… seems like the straightener isn’t so good if the curls don’t last 🤷🏽♀️

I just found it really cute! I remember seeing one of your holiday posts where you said how you were unhappy with something about the way they looked (although for me it looked perfect) and to see you with a wine stain on your Zimmerman dress, all happy and bubbly made me happy for you, as one can tell you were fully enjoying your evening, not giving a f. about anything, and making a good moment out of something that would sometimes ruin our day... and I feel like that attitude is what we all need to learn and reproduce fully in life xx🥂

This is her job, it’s obvious she’s trying to get more sales therefore the many touch ups. It doesn’t have to be plugged in, that’s why she’s retouching it on the stairs, on the taxi. Let her be 🙏🏼
@@lodeVay No one said anything to shame her. However, from the video to me it seemed as thought the curls didn't last very long. I don't know her personally, but from what was portrayed it seems like the product requires a lot of touch ups.

Lol I now understand why Josies vlog from that day just stopped 😂.

@@atlantayeatman2417 I get you, I used even have issues with colouring my hair. Now that I'm older it seems to behave a bit more, but still it would be nice if I wasn't so very thick.
Every type of hair sucks for something. Every type of pretty much anything sucks for something
I mean, unless you want bone straight hair 80% of the time, it can get jarring
Long enough you have to style it even in a ponytail, so thick it take ma Hours to style it, so silky every hairtie or hairpiece falls off 🤷🏻♀️🥲

Your curls drop not because your hair is thick, it is because you straighten it way too much before curling. It needs to air dry and be a bit damp. Also when you curl it over and over it will keep dropping. Curls usually stay on thick hair more than on thin one

Hey Freddy! Here’s my opinion... I do love this vlog style as it is more realistic and vulnerable. So, maybe film a vlog once every couple of months if you can. I strongly encourage you to cut your bangs again. I was just rewatching some of your old videos and the bangs were just exquisite, they suit you well. 😍

Loved this vlog Freddy! I have fine hair which falls flat and stringy and greasy in a day! I would kill for thick gorgeous hair like yours. My hair breaks easy too and wouldn’t be able to curl it as many times as you did. I always moan about my hair lol. I get in a mood and my hair brush is my third arm. I’m like Marcia Brady always brushing it! I’m thankful to have hair, but I just wish it was thick! I have to wear it up a lot, because I just can’t do anything with it. Your hair suits you straight as well Freddy! 💖💖💖

You need to use fome hair curlers/rods. They need no heat, you put them in after you've done a curl with the straightener and leave until hair cools! Get them for cheap off amazon, it's a game changer! 💛
