Love the video, I've gotten into trapping the past couple of years. Haven't had much luck with muskrats but I have been hammering the beavers!
Thanks for watching, lots more trapping videos coming out next weekend!
Try float setting with bait for rats. Use wood and/or a piece of foam. With leg holds. It's fun and easy
When your trapping runs, no bait is needed. Just set the runs where the water is murky/dirty. That’s a sign of the runs there using the most. Nice little video.
greetings from Northern Canada! loving the trapping vids! Keep up the good work! Do you plan on trapping any other critters or just the rats for now?
I have some skunk and raccoon trapping videos coming out soon! Thanks for watching
Where at in idaho is there marshes like that??? Been over a good portion of that state hunting and never seen any marsh before
So if you take a left then a left then a right then a left and a left and then you are there. Hope this helps
I just set the runs until ice up, then I'll throw a piece of carrot or potato on the trigger
Thanks for the tip! I am still new to water trapping.
@@Carter_May you're doing just fine. Sometimes if I forget to bring carrots I'll put some orange flagging on the trigger instead, works just as well
Can use orange or yellow flagging as bait on conibears
Yes I have not tried it, but I have a friend that had pretty good luck with orange flagging.
