I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Roger Waters many months ago being politically so active for true justice and social matters. I wouldn’t have expected him to become one of the front celebrities of the human rights movement. I‘ve got a number of his band’s vinyl albums in my shelf for over 40 years now, but although Pink Floyd is a source of great art and style and progressive music, there wasn’t much in their lyrics on political issues, (except in the “The Wall“-album) that would compel you to deduce the band or one of them having such an articulate pro-human-rights-stance. I would rather have expected Paul McCartney in such a role. Not much to be heard from him though...

Both are part of the of the original Labour movement which stood for fairness in the work place, freedom of speech, and keeping the billionaire cooperations in check.
Sadly that original Labour movement has been high jacked by the woke fascists who are against the tradition Labour movement and are now under the woke of the ruling class. Very sad. The Tories no longer have an effective opposition.

At 7:45 or so, I think actually Congress can remove a federal judge via an impeachment hearing. House can impeach with a simple majority vote and then it would go to the Senate for a trial. You need two thirds majority in the Senate to convict. Similar to other impeachment proceedings I suppose. Good luck getting that process through though so in a way I guess Roger is right it's near impossible to remove these people.
I don't know where Roger Waters finds the energy, but I'm glad he does.

If you are in the US, you can call the DOJ and leave a comment, please do so and ask Merrick Garland to take back Donziger's case and put a halt to this attempt at private prosecution becoming a thing.... it is unacceptable in our "democracy". 202..353..1555, option 1.

#BoycottChevron. It is illegal and constitutional for a citizen, organization or company to carryout government functions. Both the judge and private attorney that prosecuted this case should be investigated, reprimanded for judicial misconduct, and disbarred.

A federal judge *can* be impeached by Congress (House of Representatives), and then tried in the Senate. Conviction can result in removal from office. This includes Supreme Court Justices. It doesn't usually happen though. Just like Presidential impeachments don't really happen (or at least, Senate convictions don't).
I believe he was knighted but probably doesn't like to use it but he is Sir Roger Waters which makes him a Knight. Just like in centuries past there was always a peoples choice, their Knight, their Gladiator. Roger is just the modern day version of that. Roger is a voice for the silenced majority.
