Not a big country guy, but as a professional guitarist, I can’t help but be in awe of Brad Paisley, his guitar playing is superb. He could slide into any band and be right at home
Finally I have a Fender Tele arriving next Tuesday with a B/G-Bender. Brad changed my approach since I first heard him play Long Hot Sermon whilst I was driving along a motorway in 1999. It was a pivotal point in my life. Thanks for the great music.
@@lucasmartens5784 Fender Brent Mason signature with Glaser bender. Can swap between B and G bending. A changeover from one to the other takes about 10 minutes. I've only had it a couple of weeks but already I know it's a great versatile guitar. Not cheap but a lot cheaper that a Crook with a McVay or Glaser.
Just a homeless guy living in my old chevy pick up truck in east Tennessee .And stumbled across this video. You gave me hope. I play guitar sing and write too. Your a true inspiration to me as well as sooo meny others. God bless you son. Keeping it country is keeping America real. P.S.i really liked that fishing song you and little jimmy dickins did back some years ago. Great song. Reminded me of myself. Lol.
Same here man ... Brad and Keith were my first influences when I start playing guitar. I saw them both last year in concert in Dublin, it was a dream come true for a big Romanian country music fan. Music connect us all over the world and we can share the same feelings and passion
OMG even after almost 20 years of marriage he still sings the song "she is everything" looking at her with so much love in his eyes !!!! Brad you are the awesome and you and Kim are so cute!!
I rarely listen to any country unless it's fairly old. I just don't really listen to country music these days at all. I became a fan of Brad's because of his playing, which is penominal and a few videos of him playing some Van Halen but I didn't really know any of his music so I'm glad I watched this and I believe I may have to purchase a few cds and hear some more.
I aM a long time heavy metal fan. It is the type of music I play on guitar. Iron Maiden is my favorite band. I grew up in the country, my family listened to this music ( country & western) as they lived their lives. Brad Paisley is a phenom on the 6 string, BIG EVH influence going on. His cd called PLAY scratches my itch for guitar tricks and showboating. He opened my eyes to a lot if cool stuff.
The fact that someone like brad can forget the words to his own song makes me feel a little better about a mental blank when singing a cover. More seriously though, for the millions of wannabe guitar pickers like me, this footage is a rare and priceless close-up visual of how he plays the magical music that we hang on, note for note year after year.. So on behalf of all of us who love to pick, Thanks Brad :)
Haha this is a pure masterclass. He’s got such a Van Halen sensibility of timing. Creates this off the rails feeling to their solos with random triplet runs…then boom…sticks the landing with a perfect 10.
Just gotta say - I've been watching this almost daily - for months!!! I love it - love Brad, love Kimberly, love his Dad, love the band......I saw Brad in Madison, Wisconsin many years ago. Loved him then, love him still.

Hi Brad. It's quite some time since I saw that post on RUclips. That you and your band did, four months in fact I was surprised when I saw a reply from you, thank you so much for that. I love Teles I have three now as I have just got a new one, a fender performer. I'm a lot older than you and have been playing them longer than you. But I never got anywhere near your class or ability. And if i had practised 100 % more I wouldn't even come close. But I know enough to have said that it took the ability that you and your band have to have done that live. It was amazing. God bless you, and country music always. Ted in the UK
Hey, thanks so much for this. It is a lot of fun to watch and a fantastic guitar lesson too. Seen you guys in Dublin last year and was very happy. God bless you all.
This whole isolation deal and Brad's response has made me a fan of his. Before this, I could take him or leave him. I believe he's a good ole boy. Just a guy.....
He’s a good dude. He cares about the safety of his family and his band. They didn’t have to do it this way either, I’m sure they were all tested but he wanted to be a good example so he went to all the extra work to separate everyone. Very cool.
Amazing songs, incredible guitar playing combined with humor. As for me, I could not ask for more. Thank you Brad (& band). Absolutely one of the best videos I've seen in a very long time. Thanks guys!
I have so many favorites from Brad. I've done some in our karaoke sessions but, the one that makes me cry is Anything Like Me. My son passed away at age 16 so that one gets me every time.
"something and something. It's been a while since I sang this song. I don't know the words, but that's ok" 🤣🤣 I love it! Brad is such a down to earth guy! And an amazing guitar player. He's one the reasons that 3 out of 4 of my guitars are Telecasters.
I doubt you will see this not sure but just wanted to say I LOVE what a lot of Country Artists are doing with putting on these performances at home basically a home concert. Come back to southern Idaho when the Rona lets up. My mouth was wide open in shock during the whole show when I saw you guys. Somehow I missed the fact that Brad was such an amazing guitarist.
This an amazing master class in chickin' pickin'. I gotta get me a Tele with a bender. Love this. Brad is so humble and has done a great job engaging with his fans over this lock down. Love to all from Kings Lynn, Norfolk, UK.
Brad, my main man! It is so cool as a guitarist of 50 years now to listen to an artist like Brad who not only has the talent but has put in the 10,000+ hours to play guitar so effortlessly at the level of a session musician being paid to ONLY play guitar. He is just so damn good! Love it - and I’m not really a “country” fan- I’m a guitar music of every genre fan. Brad has got the “chicken pickin’” and “g bender and b bender” techniques down like an Ace !!!
Great stuff Brad. Last time I've seen you play live was when you played for us at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan. Thankyou for what you do, encouraging people during difficult times.
Love the studio. Noticed the two Trainwreck Circuits amps on the rack behind him. Those are the amps in the wood cabinets. Had the pleasure of playing thru one of those many years ago when I met the guy who made them. Fantastic amps!

@Brad Paisley I just heard the verdict in the trial in defending George Floyd's right to live. It said," Black lives do matter" My very first thought was "From a Woman on a bus to a Man with a dream." As I think back now, to the cherished memory of your performance for the newly elected President Obama, my heart has the ache of refound hope for our Country. Always brings me to tears of Joy. With Justice for All. Keep the songs and inspiration going! We need your gift more than ever in this time of healing...
@Brad Paisley I'm up in rural Vermont, 8 miles from Canada. Just an old lady, pretty much alone and homebound, watching the World change. Wondering how my kids and grandchildren can navigate in it. So different from my coming of age back in the 70's. When a stranger was seen as a new friend and never thinking they could be otherwise. Songs have always been a balm in confusing times. I appreciate the musicians who put words to music and say what my heart feels. I'm a fan of many great artists whose music speak of hope. May God Bless you all who make it your life's work to soothe our souls, make us smile. Helping me get through some lonely days.
@Brad Paisley And I am AMAZED you responded to my comments at all! I really didn't expect any. Rarely do I receive any words to my comments, some "likes" though. (Because it's so hard to get out and about "commenting" is pretty much how I can still talk to people. And other commenters, who do respond, are not always kind, in honesty sometimes scary.) I'm just one of so many persons getting older, retired RN, was married for decades, raised a family and now at the stage where I can no longer be an "active" participant in life. Kids grown. Husband gone. Barely able to care for myself. Facebook is how I meet up with dwindling number if classmates... All I have left to give are my thoughts and prayers, coming from the experience of many years of learning and living and then passing on some encouraging words of appreciation and compassion where it is due. In looking back over the years, with an eye on what really mattered, the care and love I have been able to give to others has been plenty enough reward for me. Hardly makes me great! My small works don't compare to the influence fame gives to people like you in our society. (I believe strongly in expressing appreciation for those of you who encourage the best in people. We've had too many doing the opposite.) What you give to the public really matters! There is such a need for humor (even cynical) and serious clear eyed expression of the goodness in people from those we pay attention to. Thanks for taking the time for saying your kind words to me and for your positive influence on all your audiences. Well, I've babbled on far too much. May God continue to Bless you and yours as you continue in your good works. From an "Average" fan!

Love it!! He's an incredible guitarist and singer. Funny though that there is thousands upon thousands of dollars of equipment and the video looks like it was filmed on a flip phone. haha
Man, the shapes we twisted ourselves into to get through lockdown. But, the countries that took it most seriously lost the fewest citizens....and that's what an advanced society does. With Smiles!

Forgets lyrics to half a song, but doesn’t miss a single guitar part. MY MAN!!!!!
😂 He STILL can’t remember the ‘Little Moments’ solo… his playing, tho, is pure fire!
well on live shows I'm sure he has auto cues :)
😂 He probably didn't even write those songs.
More than likely it was written by some Nashville session guy 😉

He said in interview years ago his manager said 'your lyrics are just seagways for the next guitar solo 😜
Uhhh, this is like a gold mine. The rawness of this video is awesome. New favorite binge.
Thank you Kim Paisley! for understanding guitar players want to see the hands! enjoyed the songs, Brad. Love the house, Ha! .
