My God what a genuine down to earth guy. Of course, he’s bloody brilliant too. He was wonderful in this production. A moving, painful and beautiful event.
Timothy Bloody Spall ❤ working class boy done good, how wonderful to hear something genuine and heartfelt among all the scripted PR-friendly fluff. One of England's true treasures.
absolute legend of an actor, so versatile, bumbling Barry to nasty Dad in Wicked little letters, can't believe this is his first BAFTA. Love everything he's in.
Timothy Spall is an acting legend. He's been in so many great programmes and films. So to me he is utterly brilliant and deserves every accolade. And should've got a Bafta long before now..
A guy that's ALWAYS been there........forever the bridesmaid I think that's what they say........ A well deserved recognition to such a down to earth actor.
Congratulations Tim. Only seems like yesterday since you were standing on the stage in the Shaw Theatre as Falstaff. You were mega then - I think Michael Croft would be so proud of you. He saw your talent even back thenwhen you were a 17 year old. Xxxxx
What a fantastic speech ( which I didn't listen to, I read it online ) I literally shit my pants with joy and went outside, into my garden and pissed on my rose plant. I truly feel the world is better now, no more wars and starvation
I’m so glad Timothy Spall won. His portrayal of Peter Farquhar was brilliant. And what a down to earth guy in comparison to all these other pretentious actors.
Way more endearing than what Coz or Coogan would have said, which you just know would have likely been pretentious political grandstanding about things they don't actually have a clue about.
Sincere, honest, and heartfelt, what a lovely guy, so well deserved and long overdue. Magnificent real actor
and funny! love that
The best speech at last nights BAFTA awards - so genuine.

Well done, Timothy Spall. Excellent and heartbreaking performance in The Sixth Commandment.
A genuine, humble response from a dear man.❤

He was absolutely riveting in this role. But then, when isn’t he? Very pleased he won against stiff competition.
Love everything he does!

Hard to believe its 41 years since the boys were." Yeah you play the game
Then it's Auf Wiedersehen
That's livin' alright"

What a lovely human being... l wish his nature was a dominant characteristic amongst mankind. But, sadly, it's not.
That's the guy who played the evil cab driver in Sherlock.
I know him.
Way more endearing than what Coz or Coogan would have said, which you just know would have likely been pretentious political grandstanding about things they don't actually have a clue about.
Kane Robinson, robbed. Sorry but his performance in Top Boy was second to none.
