I recently got mine a few days ago from The Loop. It was Macbook Air M2 Starlight with 8gb + 512gb. SRP's PHP72,000 and I got it for only PHP50,300 - Cash. ❤❤
Hello! I just bought the macbook air m3, 8gb with 256gb ssd. For my use (texts and internet research) it is perfect. I had the MacBook Air 2017. I think that for you, the MacBook Pro would be ideal, since you edit videos.
MACBOOK TIP: - take care of your battery health. Very important to NOT keep unplugging and plugging. Search online how to take care of a Mac battery - Macbook Airs DONT HAVE A FAN, while MacBook Pros do. If you’re in a hotter space then this can heat up your Mac Air and also depreciate your battery. The Pros have an advantage. - Get a MacBook Pro if you want a fan and do more heavy loaded stuff. But if it’s basic google docs, reading/studying, and simple editing - basically Not pro softwares - then the Air would be good for you. It’s for basic needs. Think about your budget and also what you’re gonna use the max for.
Have you bought a new laptop? We're in the same boat. My ASUS is more than 6 years old and will need to be replaced when it totally conks out. I've been looking at ASUS laptops, too, with the following considerations: 1. Longevity --- up to how many years will it be my workhorse? I work at home and my laptop is my life. It has to last at least 5 years of abuse for me to declare it worth the price; 2. Durability -- I am not the most careful owner. Military grade is the best for those rare times I go out and accidentally bump my laptop against a chair or person; 3. Price -- I've seen the specs of the cheaper models. Mid-range or higher will do for me. At least I know the mid to upper ranges will last me years in spite of rough handling :D and 4. Aesthetics -- the color cobalt blue is a deal breaker when it comes to looks. If the laptop is blue, it becomes harder for me to resist it. :D Yep, I use a different brand. But it's because one of my work software is only compatible with Windows OS. Sad. I could have bought myself a Mac, too, ages ago if not for that. Happy hunting :)
nope, I'm still torn between the Macbook Pro M4 and the new Mac Mini! it really is a tough decision, I hope you find a perfect one that checks all the boxes 💞
