Thank You! I've been tempted to do this myself but don't want to waste glass! lol Sure you'll think of something!

You can save this with pabeo paint and a bit of mica added to make it sparkle- a fast and easy way when the casting picks up the slip from a mold- zyp or kilnwash -
@@JamaisonSchuler possibly but i think it would pick up less than the green also if you cast at slightly lower than full fuse and hold longer it should pick up less ZYP

Jamaison, try acid etching it (instead of sandblasting) and then fire polishing.
I wonder if you can spray with a glossy spray that is used on ceramics?
I wonder if that would only trap the white inside? I have it tumbling now! We’ll see what that does.
Oh man, I was just thinking sand blaster right before you said it. Maybe the tumbler.... The aventurine glass is beautiful.
great mold, hope you get it to work next time
Isn’t it? The texture is very cool!
Why not try your Dremel and small bits? Anyway luckily you can find neat things like that.
Hope to see this saved. I would try an etching cream I would be interested in how a tumbler might work
It’s in the tumbler! I’ll share an update over on FB - RUclips just isn’t great for that kind of thing.
Lol of course they doooooo 😂😂😂
I would try a wire brush on my dremel
Yup, good idea
I LIKE THE OTHER SIDE ALSO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
maybe a layer of clear then the colour?
Maybe? I worry the clear would pick it up too?

I am wondering if you fired the mold by itself to burn out any oils that might have soaked into the mold if it had been used for baking?
@@loricooper2828yes, I’ve done this before but this one seemed unused. Maybe I was wrong. It seemed “fresh” 😂
Would kiln wash work better than Zyp in this case?
