Gotta love Triple G! I was looking at this pack, but wanted a padded hip belt. Decided on the Hyperlite Waypoint 35, which comes in at a hefty 23oz. I like to swap out the black elastic and paracord with neon orange. Plus, I add an orange elastic X pattern through anchor points over the front pocket to stow a sit pad or jacket and such.
Slick looking pack! GGG dose a great job in promoting some wonderful gear that's not well known but defiantly good quality. The Ultra material worked out wonderfully for me on the LSHT especially in the rain. Keep on moving! 👍
I've had one trip on the pack so far and really enjoyed it. I have another one coming up pretty soon. My hat is 1776 United. I have quite a few things from them. I really appreciate their products.
Nice looking pack! I’m definitely a fan of rolltops over drawstrings. I like hip belt pockets though, maybe because I always pack too many things haha! Looking forward to seeing how your new pack does on the trail!
Bonfus makes a regular hip belt for this pack as well. I might get it eventually if I need. Or maybe even start rocking a fanny pack! That's the trend, right? I really am really impressed with the materials and quality of the pack. The roll top is nice. I guess its not that big of a deal to me yet since every pack I've ever had has had a draw string. The way my Zpacks Zero closes though is a little finicky. This will probably be much better.
@@CameronHall88 That is cool that they make a regular hip belt. I like the narrow profile too, I imagine that’s nice for weight distribution. I tried the Fanny pack, and I even liked it for a bit, but ended up getting away from it. I’m gonna go look at bonfus packs now haha!
Bonfus makes great packs, I feel 38-40L is perfect for normal trips in Texas. I still need to get a framed pack for those long water carries in BB or GUMO. Keep up the awesome content! What's your go to shelter these days?
Right now I'm planning to use the Tarptent Double Rainbow this year. At least through spring. I'm looking to lighten up later this year or next year but I'm not sure that I want another trekking pole tent. I love all of the features of the double rainbow. I honestly think the lithium version might be the perfect tent for me. But that price tag is shocking.
@UltralightOutdoors I'm kinda with ya. I use an SMD Deschutes with Serenity but the hard ground in parts of Texas really makes me want to switch to a freestanding tent. My BW is 7.5lbs so I'll take the weight penalty for sure. Just price always keeps me running from freestanding. TT makes great stuff.
@@CameronHall88 I just did a couple of MAJOR upgrades at the end of last month. I went from a Kelty Shadow 4500 and a Big Agnes Fly Creek UL2 (both had more than a decade of use on them) to a Zpacks Arc Haul 70 and Zpacks Free Duo. The free duo is the freestanding version of the duplex. Stayed with the same basic gear but shaved over 3 pounds off my base weight.
Yeah I know what you mean. I thought I did my research but I wasn’t aware of this brand. I do love my Burn but I wish the side pockets were the height of this one.

I have the same pack in black, love it!
Me too! Using it this weekend and it's been perfect. Happy hiking!
That looks like a sweet ultralight pack!
I took it out for the first time today. I really like it so far!
I love GGG.. I like that they sell small cottage brands.
Yes! That's why they're awesome.
Interesting! Enjoyed your review.
Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm really enjoying the pack so far!
Nice looking pack!! Looking forward to hearing first impressions after you see how it performs!
I'm hoping to get it out soon. The ice storm put a damper on things last week.

Used it once so far. It's not completely white anymore (as expected) But I really like a lot of the features of it. Excited to put more nights on it.
Interesting pack, very cool!
Thanks Kriz! I'm really impressed with the materials and build.
NIce Pack! can't wait to see your review after you've taken it on a trip or two. By the way, is that an Eagle Six hat?

Looks like a nice pack. Nice sweatshirt too.
Thanks Huck. Going to have to get a new sweatshirt now.
@@CameronHall88 hahaha yup! About 6 years ago I was fishing in Utah and ran into the Undertaker. ruclips.net/video/TkB6t0n_Djc/видео.html

It seems really well made for sure. I think it'll be great for what I need. Glad to hear you think they're great as well!

Didn’t know you were a Sami zayn fan. Nice vid
I love the Bloodline storyline. I've only been watching for a couple years now but really started getting into it over the past year.
It’s like the European cousin of the MLD Burn.
It is very similar. I like the y strap on the Burn. But the price was a little high for me.

I popped so hard when I saw the honorary Uce sweatshirt 😂
I knew I'd get some wrestling fans to out themselves! Hah, love the Bloodline storyline.
