  • In this previously unreleased lecture, "The Unfoldment of your Instinct to Love" Manly Hall speaks about the different kinds of love, from love of self, to unconditional love. Recorded live on February 26, 1956, Hall offers relevant advice and wisdom that is useful for us today, in our often narcissistic times.

    I grew up abused for wanting to love and be loved. Today, I struggle with not allowing my pets to tell me I have failed to give them enuf attention and love, bcuz as a result, I have an empathy for those seeking love. Animals only want to love and be loved...just like me...

    An amazing thinker and speaker! Every one of his publicly recorded speeches were spiritually and philosophically profound, and at the same time highly enjoyable and encouraging to listen to. With his amazing record of more than 50 years of public speaking, with over 7,000 lectures, as well as writing around 150 books; He can be compared to the almost equally productive esoteric lecturer and writer, the great Austrian 20th century spiritual clairvoyant and Rosicrucian initiate Rudolf Steiner. They could be compared as they both were superb public speakers and lecturers who not only displayed tremendous knowledge and wisdom, but were excellent in their style and approach towards their audiences. One could not unfairly describe Manly P. Hall as the American Rudolf Steiner! 🙂🌻💛🙏

    Love is deeper than instinct. Our souls virtually live on love and the reason people die is because of the pull of the soul towards eternal love/God. The transhumanists want to solve the problem of mortality by simply eradicating human soul and becoming almost mechanic and predictable. But the soul that achieves/ realizes its source reaches immortality through different means

    Love at 1:24:49 where he slips up and says "mental electrical mental and emotional". He meant to say mental and emotional, but was obviously aware of the electro magnetic universe where the mental corresponds to the electrical and the emotional the magnetic. "Mary MAGdeline" mag as in magnetic.

    Love and Selfishness cannot coexist together

    • @johncollins211
      @johncollins211 2 года назад

      Yes it can. Sometimes loving yourself takes some selfishness. If you don't love yourself you'll never have the capacity to love others. If selfishness is only thinking of yourself sometimes your unselfishness will be taken advantage of and you must become selfish in that moment to bring it to and end.
