Just replaced the pulley and belt 2x.... that chirping is annoying. Great info. Thank you
Your welcome. It can be very annoying and leave you stranded.
Replaced the alternator, then I heard chirping sounds on the new one. It just started on the new one.
@PoolSurfer-bt1hg If you have not done so...Replace the belt as well. I recommend factory original parts if you can get them.ABC auto parts is a great place. Or O'Reilly autoparts.Don't go to a dealer.
