This is a really solid laptop from Acer. I'm impressed they were able to produce something this good on their first attempt at the $800 market. Stay tuned for the comparison and as always. Thanks for all the love and support =) Have an awesome March Break!!
come to new zealand we pay out the nose for any tech even last year when a dollar(NZD) was at 96 cents to the USD. and if we do import we have to pay at least 50 -100 for postages and then customs puts another 300 - 500 on it if its over $500

The budget gaming laptop market seems great right now. That Acer VX15 and the Dell inspiron 7567. Pretty sure this one is hands down better than the Dell huh? Considering this has an IPS panel vs the TN on the Dell. They both are so gaudy though. Great review as always!
Jimmy Tries World I'm going with the Dell. I prefer the looks of the Dell and that battery life is just a deal breaker for me. sucks that the Dell gets that TN panel though
I got my Dell Inspiron 7567 a few weeks ago and it's a beast : good performance, great quality build, and good battery life About the screen, it's ok but blacks aren't black at all. this is a review from someone who has used this laptop for roughly 4-5 years. this laptop has a few key long term use issues that seem to be common with other long time owners. 1) the hinge: frequent flipping of the hinge to open and close the laptop has caused 2 problems. the first was screen flickering. there is a wire inside where the hinge is that appears prone to wear and tear when the hinge moves as it moved whenever you flip the laptop open or closed. it has caused screen flickering and the screen to only work in certain positions 1.5) the other issue with the hinge is that the hinge itself, as well as the plastic casing on the lower side of the screen is prone to wear and tear and can just completely come off over time. the screws inside the plastic case are attached to plastic. this can cause you to be unable to open and close your acer aspire vx 15 safely without damaging more internal parts in the hinge or even the screen. if you often play games that cause the laptop to heat up, even mildly, the plastic that the hinge's screws are attached to can become weak. one sign was the sound of cracking whenever i adjust the screen, and small black pieces of plastic start falling out. 2) the final problem with this laptop that is quite common seems to be more of a software issue. the laptop is dual core, having both an intel core and an nvidia video card driver. the problem here is that, there seems to be some miscommunication with both, especially the nvidia card. low end games run fine but higher end and more recent games struggle to launch on this laptop, and not in the sense that it crashes. the games will launch but it will either be in an invisible, uninteractable window, or appear as a small white box. sometimes the game music plays but you can not interact with anything. I have had to do so much repairs, and tinkering with this laptop to keep it alive, and working, that it honestly would have costed just as much or even less to have bought a slightly more expensive, more durable laptop. if anyone would want pictures of what the issues would look like feel free to ask in the comments and i may be able to send it to you privately. i can also provide a list of games that had issues with this laptop
Got this for my wife 3 years ago. It still looks and operates as if it's brand new. Battery life doesn't mean anything to people who never take their laptop out of the home. Hers could have shipped w/o one and she'd be fine. She never plays any games from beside the laptop, always dead on center, so the viewing angle has never been an issue. Only drawback is the same drawback all laptops suffer from - lack of ability to upgrade components. Besides RAM and storage, you're about as stuck in a laptop as you are in a Mac. I've been trying to get her to move to desktop gaming where she will be able to upgrade any component she needs without buying a whole new PC. I will never understand laptop gamers.
The only thing this beats the 7567 in is display... which isn't even reall a deal breaker... you can buy a panel better than both the 7567 and VX15 for around $50 - $100 (depending on where you live) which can easily be installed with the removal of a few screws.
I said $50 - $100 depending on the quality... this could include 1440p or 4K. The VX15 only beats this in screen quality and even then the IPS screen on this looks sloppy.
C.T. Productions, in my opinion, and i have one VX 15, It dont seen sloppy. Its a perfect screen, for this price... 4k for 100$ ? Its pretty hard to believe
i liked that you also incorporated sound while examining the webcam performance. I don't think i've seen you do that before but its an important thing to factor into the video. Please do this for all future products as well !
I love how Dave put love to his videos, and you can see that in every angle, shot, color combination in every scene and the animations and he deserve more attention as a youtuber or content creator, just a fantastic job.
This is such a fuckin comprehensive review, man. Proper usage of adjectives and adverbs to describe the laptop rather than simply saying "really really good, totally awesome, so so kewl" and so on and so forth :) Thank you!
HOLY CRAP NEARLY 500K SUBS! Dude I remembering subscribing to you back when you had like 20 thousand or so subscribers! Never really paid attention to your sub count, just enjoyed the great quality content. Nonetheless congratulations bro! Hope to see ya with the top dogs soon.
Hey Dave, Just wanted to know if you're going to review the new Acer Aspire V15/V17 Black edition anytime soon? They have GTX 1060 in it and I would be very interested in hearing you'Re Opinion on it. Thanks
Looking forward to the comparison video, will be needing a laptop for University this year that can game but won't break the bank! Love your vids for this!
krychevsk16 Yeah with these new laptops you can play 60+fps on most competitive games like League of Legends, Overwatch, Rainbow six Seige , CSGO,Heros Of The Storm, StarCraft , Diablo III,H1z1
Well...at least my 2015 can still run CS:GO at full hd and lows at more than 100fps mostly. (I have installed windows, my gpu can run csgo at 4k but mostly 40-60fps, it looks great for me.)
This and your other videos on the Dell Gaming 17, and Legion Y520 1050ti really helped me decide which one to get. Went with Legion, waiting for it to be available here in India Thank you.
I got mine in September 2017 and a few days ago the display case gave in to the hinge. Got to replace that now. It still works fine, though. So got a solid three and a half years of usage without any major problems. No hardware issues, very few technical problems. Expect this one to work for quite some time in the future. Definitely was a solid buy.
Iannoose 3758 considering that the Dell has a much better battery, it's just a way better all-rounder. And the sound is better as well. And with the new ips panel, i dont see any reason why someone would go for the Dell, at least if money is an issue
I have this laptop for 3 years now, and very impressed with the center Hinge as very solid, compare to my other laptops with hinges at the side, those tends to break easily. for Battery since I used it everyday for the past 3 years, still has no issue, could play games 1 to 2 hours, browsing and watching movies for 4 hours.
I have VX15 with 1050ti, and for the last 5 years (actually i got it on 20.12.2017, so 1 day before it's 5th b-day today ) and it's been solid. With the years i changer the charger with new one with 130W, the original one died, put extra 8GB RAM, and 512GB SSD. The only major issue with the laptop is with frame around the screen, and to be more specific the back panel, where hinges are bolted. Few months ago one of the hinges broke clean and i had to improvise. This one worked until beginning of October, when both hinges broke at the same time. For $100 got myself new frame with back panel, changed it and now it is perfect. Sadly now i am thinking of selling it and get new better and way more expensive Acer, and since market is crazy i can easily sell it for $750 at the moment in my country.

I've owned one since April, and lovin' it so far. Barely any heat and you won't notice fan noise even at load. Its just a super fingerprint magnet on both the top cover and palm rest area though. And to anyone thinking of buying this definitely save up for the i7/1050Ti config, huge boost to performance for just a few bucks.
Is this coming to europe (italy in particular)? i have the acer aspire v15 nitro and i'm satisfied with it so my friend is looking for something similarly priced to what i spent on this (1000€) but a little bit more recent so this might be perfect! Don't start suggesting other pcs because in italy whatever brand comes in mind for high-end pcs doesn't exist, acer's the only brand that apparently cares for italy so i'm hoping they'll love us with this laptop too...
A dude. what the hell are you talking about, we as Italians get access to the same exact laptops models from the same brands as the other major European countries: Asus Acer Dell Lenovo ecc ecc. If you're referring to those costumizeble gaming laptops, those are mostly assembled in Germany but can be delivered all over Europe with no issues (other than the keyboard layout)
I just bought one yesterday in Germany and if you don't speak German it sucks. It has few keys for German and it's little different compared to English laptops.
man i swear you are the best reviews guy on youtube i wish you do reviews for every single laptop on the market lol u really legit man thanks for your awesome vids
In case you are wondering, even a GTX 950m works fine for Overwatch, in Medium graphics and 80% render scale. If Overwatch is the game you want to play in your laptop, don't worry about 1050 vs 1050ti, both will be able to run it with respectable quality.
Hi @Dave Lee : Dearest Respected Sir, it would be too much appreciable for you if you play PUBG (Player Unknown Battle Grounds) on this very same laptop and tell us info with depts. As of 23 August 2017.
OMG Thank you so much Dave. Last note, the one about the comparison, is exactly what I need. Regarding your knowledge and experience, I'd really like to hear your opinion about both (all 3) and maybe that'll help me choose whats best. Thanks in advance for that upcoming video. Will be looking forward to it. Great Job on the Reviews. KEEP IT UP!
can't wait for that 3 way comparison of laptops. I hope you include refresh rates for the displays of the laptops as that information seems to left out of a lot of reviews even though the reviews talk about how much fps u can get. it's pretty much useless unless ur plugged into a external display
It's doing great. I usually play Warthunder maxed out averaging 100 FPS in huge 15 v 15 games. Has blue screened a few times but I blame win10. Otherwise, instant boot up and plays everything I throw at it. Recommend adding a another drive; 256GB is not much. Try to find the one with 256gb ssd with the i7 and 1050 ti. I also render(solidworks) a bit. The i7 hammers out just about everything.
I can tell you whats wrong with it. The Temperature and Fans are terribly wrong. 1. The Fans aren't adjustable, in no way. They are just too slow and should be running much faster. The VX15 doesn't adjust the to temperature but to CPU Load -> the Cpu gets as hot as 90°C and more. 2. Thats the second problem. You will get Thermal Throtteling if you don't undervolt alot. Even with undervolting my i5 7300 HQ was 20!C (TWENTY!) Degrees hotter than my i5 6300 HQ in my Lenovo y700.
i have an old gaming laptop that plays overwatch (the only game i care about) at low in 60 fps, i live in argentina so to upgrade or build a computer is really expensive (prices are *3 us price). I am going to us in july and i will buy a laptop (less than a 1000$) nut i need it to last, which one would u recommend? I am not sure to spend the money into a gaming laptop that will only last two years to just play overwatch or buy an ultrabook like the razer stealth, that would last a lot more (i love it) and keep the old one to play. help
Thank u Dave bcoz of ur review I got this acer aspire vx15 it's really cool for this budget. Keep doing such videos to help others to choose their laptops.
Dave, I wanted to let you know how much I like your review style. All substance and no douchebaggery. You have a soft, informative tone that lets us digest the information and not cringe at spastic movements and terrible jokes from other RUclips tech reviewers. This is what a review video should do and be. I think some of these reviewers try to hard to be "edgy" that they fall off the cliff immediately.
What you said about the usb ports was very interesting, I had never thought of that but now I kind of like that mine has one usb port on the right hand side and two on the left hand side. Great review as always
PowerhousePR ahah, so funny to see hundreds of people complaining about shity design of latest gaming laptops, what's your problem? Don't buy it and that's all. There are people who like style like that. Or maybe You have bought better laptop for the same price? Common, write here the model
Ihnatii Korzhevoi I DON't buy it!!! My complaint is because like MANY others they keep doing the same SHIT! Thats my complaint!..... The Razeblade laptops look so much better than this crap. They give superb gaming experience while maintaining a good design. MSi also has better looking laptops than this. What does having a GOOD design has anything to do with PRICE???? It has NOTHING to do with it.
I have one of these and frankly my biggest issue with it is the lack of Thunderbolt 3. It performs nicely for my uses including: RUclips video watching, Zoom classes, and Minecraft. The fans kick on when I first launch the game and chrome slows down a lot when I launch minecraft because I often watch videos while I play. I just wish the USB C port was more capable. I would love to use this thing with a dock, but the lack of thunderbolt means I would have to run it over one of the USB 3 ports and I’d still have to plug in the charge cable. I really wish I knew that when I bought it, because I probably would have gone for the Dell XPS15 which has the same processor, the 1050 instead of the 1050ti, a 4K screen, and Thunderbolt 3 as well as a list of compatible docks. I might have also gone for an Alienware laptop. I’m not really sure. But I do kinda regret buying it. It’s not bad, but I do feel like it’s limited in ways that I didn’t understand when I bought it. It’s still a massive upgrade from my previous laptop, an HP 14z-fq000. It was painfully slow even when just writing essays
Hey Dave Lee, I wanted to suggest some new material, not that your material is old or anything, its just an idea. I would like to see a "rate my rig" or something in which you select a special someone who sends a picture of their laptop, and you would give information about the pc in your perspective, anyways love your vids man
I got an Alienware 15 with a GTX 965m, skylake I5, 92Wh battery, 16GB DDR4, Amazing 1080p IPS panel with >%90 sRGB, 1TB hdd and 500GB SATA SSD for $550!! Im so excited!
Hey dude nice video, I really like it when you review cheap gaming laptops it helps me on my pursuit to buy my first gaming laptop and all and all laptop
Been using it for 2 years now and tested LOTS of other laptops since then. This is probably the most quiet gaming laptop I ever tested so far. All other Laptops really annoy me in terms of Fan Noise.
nice review, lookin forward for the comparison with other budget gaming laptops(Lenovo 700, dell 7000).. I need to get one by Friday, hope u have the video by then... thanks
The main thing that's wrong for me is the GTX 1050Ti. Around my parts (Hong Kong) the GTX 1050Ti+IPS+Core i7 model costs upwards to 1500USD. They should've chosen the GTX 1060 for the top-end model. Or heck, at least included Thunderbolt 3 for eGPU support. A real pity cause it's my favorite gaming laptop design.
Is it just me, or does Dave look sharp as hell in that blazer? I mean...he looks REALLY good here, haha. (It's also a nice change from the usual hoodies he wears)
Interesting seeing you talk about the central hinge design in a "bad" way. From my experience with laptops I never have had issues with those. Only laptop I ever had the hinges die on me had them placed on the laptop corners. Lasted me for roughly 2 years before both broke and I had to lean the screen against something to use at all.
This is a really solid laptop from Acer. I'm impressed they were able to produce something this good on their first attempt at the $800 market. Stay tuned for the comparison and as always. Thanks for all the love and support =) Have an awesome March Break!!
okay but asus x550jx is better - _-
Dave Lee please compare it with Asus gl553
Dave Lee Will you do reviews on Acer Predator 21X and Asus ROG GX800
Dave you missed your video with benchmarks in description :) Love your vids :)
Dave Lee Also do a review on the brand new portable gaming device, Nintendo Switch
I always see these "$800 Laptops" on videos but they are NEVER priced at $800.
Eric Saaan sales tax& ship and handling
I'm talking before sales tax and s&h. A few companies announced Gaming Laptops at $799 for release this year, but have upped the msrp $100 since then.
come to new zealand we pay out the nose for any tech even last year when a dollar(NZD) was at 96 cents to the USD. and if we do import we have to pay at least 50 -100 for postages and then customs puts another 300 - 500 on it if its over $500
The 1050 is $799 - the 1050ti is $899. Stop whining.
in my country, this laptop cost around $1500(with the 1050ti)
Left Handed employee at Acer designed that laptop.
The track pad is outrageously off centered. I mean come on there is so much space to the right...
Nyankana It's designed for when typing you cant touch it.
Pretty sure they aligned it with the spacebar.
山内淳カイル thats the point, if you align it with space bar you will not touch it.
Tell im that you dont need to but the wasd lit up... Fucking ugly
i want to upgrade from dave2d to dave3d, how do i d that?

You need to buy a Play Station, unlike your SNES is has a 3D chip

hey there, but i heard this laptop doesnt come with the HDD ??
did you talk to the Acer Support about this issue ?
can I ask where you bought it? I'm interested :)
and I do hope they do deliveries
the 44k Php is the i5 with 1050 (not the TI version) and only 4gb of RAM (instead of 8gb or 16gb) Acer VX15
Raincat do you have problem about cpu heat? Hows your temp?
I have the same model bought from pc express in SM north edsa. The temperature gets a little toasty when playing CPU and GPU intensive games like GTAV and Witcher 3 but the heat can be minimized by using a cooling dock or placing a small USB fan in the same direction as the flow of hot air from the laptop.
I love how The Witcher 3 is still used in Benchmarks today nearly 2 years after release. Fantastic looking game!
this guy is seriously obsessed with overwatch.
that's fortunate for me since that's the benchmark I would prefer for reference

I have this laptop ( with a i7 - GTX 1050 4GiGs) and for me it is just beautiful. Great performence.
I bought after watching your movies :) Thanks :)
im looking to buy a gaming laptop that will last long enough for me. since you've written this comment, has anything seemed off or went wrong in your laptop? thanks
@@emerald767 Old comment but yes, I loved the laptop but one day the hinges just locked and - break! I guess hinges are a known problem with acer.

Who even use batteries in 2017? Laptops is plugged to power 24/7.
People who game on the bed
Gytis321 S Laptops are meant to be use on the go.
If you want a computer to be plugged 24/7 then get a desktop.
No. bcs desktop will eat so much electricity that your one year electricity bill would cost more then this laptop.
PowerhousePR I need a laptop so I can take it to different places. But at those places it is usually plugged in.
When you take it somewhere like to class.....

True. It's great that there is competition on the budget end! Despite no one making a less "gamer-y" looking machine.
I got my Dell Inspiron 7567 a few weeks ago and it's a beast : good performance, great quality build, and good battery life About the screen, it's ok but blacks aren't black at all. this is a review from someone who has used this laptop for roughly 4-5 years. this laptop has a few key long term use issues that seem to be common with other long time owners.

one sign was the sound of cracking whenever i adjust the screen, and small black pieces of plastic start falling out.
The cause of this is that, all games by default are set to run using the nvidia video card driver. the laptop for some reason is unable to render games properly using the nvidia video card.
a way i found to bypass this is to go to the nvidia control panel and change the video card driver that the game would use to the intel core. most of the games i have played finally launched properly after doing this, but it obviously does not run as well as it would have if it launched properly using the nvidia card. this issue however does not apply to all games and have left me unable to play some games entirely.
final points:
overall, this laptop is VERY budget, borderline cheap. the material it is made of degrades easily and the RAM, ssd, hdd, intel core, and nvidia video card driver dont appear to work very well together.

Right when he said "lower the resolution", lol.
Yousef Al-A'ssaf يوسف العساف 😂😂😂 بسم الله
I love how Dave put love to his videos, and you can see that in every angle, shot, color combination in every scene and the animations and he deserve more attention as a youtuber or content creator, just a fantastic job.
look at that 1:08 "lower the resolution" small edit. nice
This is such a fuckin comprehensive review, man.
Proper usage of adjectives and adverbs to describe the laptop rather than simply saying "really really good, totally awesome, so so kewl" and so on and so forth :)
Thank you!
Whats better the 1k version or the Acer predator helios 300?
helios 300 for sure
HOLY CRAP NEARLY 500K SUBS! Dude I remembering subscribing to you back when you had like 20 thousand or so subscribers! Never really paid attention to your sub count, just enjoyed the great quality content. Nonetheless congratulations bro! Hope to see ya with the top dogs soon.
Hey Dave,
Just wanted to know if you're going to review the new Acer Aspire V15/V17 Black edition anytime soon?
They have GTX 1060 in it and I would be very interested in hearing you'Re Opinion on it. Thanks
Your**
Wolfenstein You illiterate fuck.
Looking forward to the comparison video, will be needing a laptop for University this year that can game but won't break the bank! Love your vids for this!
Wait a minute: 0:45 1080p high...you call that light gaming? 100 f********** fps is so high! Yep, a macbook is a total disaster.
krychevsk16 Yeah with these new laptops you can play 60+fps on most competitive games like League of Legends, Overwatch, Rainbow six Seige , CSGO,Heros Of The Storm, StarCraft , Diablo III,H1z1
I mean 1080p high settings gaming is super good, never saw that on a laptop with 100fps (i was expecting lower fps than 60 on 1050 ti).
Well...at least my 2015 can still run CS:GO at full hd and lows at more than 100fps mostly. (I have installed windows, my gpu can run csgo at 4k but mostly 40-60fps, it looks great for me.)
krychevsk16 Why would you play a game at 4k on a non-4k screen?
Because i've got a 4k monitor, ofc i wouldn't waste performance on nothing
This and your other videos on the Dell Gaming 17, and Legion Y520 1050ti really helped me decide which one to get. Went with Legion, waiting for it to be available here in India
Thank you.
0:29 1TB GB HD and i5-7700? lol
is tht bad
I got mine in September 2017 and a few days ago the display case gave in to the hinge. Got to replace that now. It still works fine, though. So got a solid three and a half years of usage without any major problems. No hardware issues, very few technical problems. Expect this one to work for quite some time in the future. Definitely was a solid buy.
Bought mine on May 2017 and the top lid gave in. All the reinforcements in the case just melted away on touching have ordered one now for 50$
This was a pretty harsh review considering the dell Inspiron got a great review even though the acer is the same price but better
Iannoose 3758 True
Iannoose 3758 considering that the Dell has a much better battery, it's just a way better all-rounder. And the sound is better as well.
And with the new ips panel, i dont see any reason why someone would go for the Dell, at least if money is an issue
I have this laptop for 3 years now, and very impressed with the center Hinge as very solid, compare to my other laptops with hinges at the side, those tends to break easily. for Battery since I used it everyday for the past 3 years, still has no issue, could play games 1 to 2 hours, browsing and watching movies for 4 hours.
Yo! Another dave2d video!!!
**sees bastion golden gun**
Here in Brazil, the price is R$5700,00.

Oh... should have searched before asking: for anyone wondering comes out this month at 1000€ only the i7/1050Ti version in all europe
A dude. what the hell are you talking about, we as Italians get access to the same exact laptops models from the same brands as the other major European countries: Asus Acer Dell Lenovo ecc ecc.
Watch the intro music at 2x!
watch it at 0.25
It’s better at 2x speed
I remember when this channel was only like 10k subs, that was only last year. Good job Dave, hard work always pays off.
Of course Dave has a golden bastion gun lol
In case you are wondering, even a GTX 950m works fine for Overwatch, in Medium graphics and 80% render scale.
If Overwatch is the game you want to play in your laptop, don't worry about 1050 vs 1050ti, both will be able to run it with respectable quality.
Hi @Dave Lee : Dearest Respected Sir, it would be too much appreciable for you if you play PUBG (Player Unknown Battle Grounds) on this very same laptop and tell us info with depts. As of 23 August 2017.
You make very helpful and informative videos without all the adds and fluff like some channels on here. Thank you man!
Do you buy all the laptops you review...?
he rents them
OMG Thank you so much Dave. KEEP IT UP!
background link pls
Same ^^
Dodie Macapanase Me Too
can't wait for that 3 way comparison of laptops. I hope you include refresh rates for the displays of the laptops as that information seems to left out of a lot of reviews even though the reviews talk about how much fps u can get. it's pretty much useless unless ur plugged into a external display
in india we get the shitty version with 1050 without ips
superhero I just ordered one from usa.
I5
1050ti
16gb
256gb ssd
IPS display at 61k
get someone to bring it here for you
Manas: what abt the 1TB HDD? Heard we have to ask Acer separately.. will that be available in India if we ship it from US!?
superhero same in Germany :(
Your videos are just calm and chilled in a way...which is weird since its about tech. But I love the overall quality, keep it up man!!!
Do the Samsung Notebook 2017 Edition. I heard it's insane
JAMAL JONES BATTERY issues on a Samsung device???
Blasphemy!!! 😂
PowerhousePR lol I get it
would you rather have a 1tb hardrive or a 256ssd
ssd
0:22 1 TB GB????
Jack Le one terabyte. 1000 gigabytes.
it says "1TB GB HDD" on the left chart
In May, I picked up a refurbished $1000 model (VX5-591G-75RM) for $800 on newegg. Dropped in a 2TB HDD for $80. Could not be happier.
How is it holding up? I'm thinking about getting it as well!
The i7 hammers out just about everything.
review the y520 pls
Zawseh Gaming soo...I not alone ;)
He has reviewed y520 ruclips.net/video/eg3u-rRjYF8/видео.html
I can tell you whats wrong with it. The Temperature and Fans are terribly wrong.
1. The Fans aren't adjustable, in no way. They are just too slow and should be running much faster. The VX15 doesn't adjust the to temperature but to CPU Load -> the Cpu gets as hot as 90°C and more.
2. Thats the second problem. You will get Thermal Throtteling if you don't undervolt alot. Even with undervolting my i5 7300 HQ was 20!C (TWENTY!) Degrees hotter than my i5 6300 HQ in my Lenovo y700.
Edit: Repasting with arctiv MX 4 helped a LOT! like 10-15 degrees!
i have an old gaming laptop that plays overwatch (the only game i care about) at low in 60 fps, i live in argentina so to upgrade or build a computer is really expensive (prices are *3 us price). I am going to us in july and i will buy a laptop (less than a 1000$) nut i need it to last, which one would u recommend? I am not sure to spend the money into a gaming laptop that will only last two years to just play overwatch or buy an ultrabook like the razer stealth, that would last a lot more (i love it) and keep the old one to play. help
Matias Leal why would the razer stealth last longer ?
because of its ssd, its display, gaming laptops battery life start to decrease faster
CryBeat same question
Get a laptop with a thunderbolt 3 USB so you can add a GPU that's a future proof laptop
Matias Leal Because the GPUs are more power hungry with 4k screens
Thank u Dave bcoz of ur review I got this acer aspire vx15 it's really cool for this budget. Keep doing such videos to help others to choose their laptops.
You can get the same for 1000$ with i7 and 1050ti
You can get a $1000 laptop in 2020 with a rtx 2060 and a core i7 9th generation
Dave, I wanted to let you know how much I like your review style. All substance and no douchebaggery. You have a soft, informative tone that lets us digest the information and not cringe at spastic movements and terrible jokes from other RUclips tech reviewers. This is what a review video should do and be. I think some of these reviewers try to hard to be "edgy" that they fall off the cliff immediately.
i dont get those designers, those gameing laptops always look like from 13 years old EDGELORD KILLERXXXSLAYER20
What you said about the usb ports was very interesting, I had never thought of that but now I kind of like that mine has one usb port on the right hand side and two on the left hand side. Great review as always
guys my question is simple!!!
dell 7567 or Acer vx15??????
Acer is problem with battery, dell is proplem with screen. Acer all the way dude because dell's screen is shit ( atleast with not laptop)
Adrien Phan But with the new IPS panel in dell is better,,, so I brought dell indeed!!!
Yes, if you like the dell, go for it already! Nut myself like the design of the acer one.
Anyway,, thanks for your suggestion bro :)
Hariharan Churchill bro I'm thinking of getting the 7567 tomorrow!
should i buy it?
I like how you keep your reviews so simplistic and easy to understand.
Whats wrong??
The whole Design is whats wrong!!!
I will keep saying it until gaming laptops stop looking like a 5 year old toy.
PowerhousePR who fucking buys this shit
es simple , es android, i boght, i work If my old HP Devion v5. Vx15 is d best price/specs under 1000$
PowerhousePR ahah, so funny to see hundreds of people complaining about shity design of latest gaming laptops, what's your problem? Don't buy it and that's all. There are people who like style like that. Or maybe You have bought better laptop for the same price? Common, write here the model
Ihnatii Korzhevoi I DON't buy it!!! My complaint is because like MANY others they keep doing the same SHIT!
Thats my complaint!.....
The Razeblade laptops look so much better than this crap. They give superb gaming experience while maintaining a good design. MSi also has better looking laptops than this.
What does having a GOOD design has anything to do with PRICE???? It has NOTHING to do with it.
Ihnatii Korzhevoi, thank you brou
Seriously one of the best RUclipsrs out there. In structuring your videos and how they flow. Thanks good the good work and keep it up :).
Ban gamer aesthetics
Wicket make this guy the president.
Yes please.
I really dig these intros! Sometimes, I even watch your videos solely for the intro. Keep up the good work.
It.looks.like.a.toy
it.doesn't.work.like.one.OK?
ZombyUniverse obvi 💁♂️. I'd get this for my 13 yr old sis.
it does!but i need something to run minecraft, fortnite and cuphed.that's it.
Bought the i7 model.
Very good for that price with very little noise.
If you cap the frames to 30 you are able to have a silent gaming station.
As usual, excellent video! The way you present the products and how you note the advantages/disadvantages are spot on!
I've bought this laptop after seeing your review! Great value for your money.
Raincat May I ask you, is your laptop still alive?
my vx-15 still works perfectly. no problems whatsoever
Hey Dave Lee, I wanted to suggest some new material, not that your material is old or anything, its just an idea. I would like to see a "rate my rig" or something in which you select a special someone who sends a picture of their laptop, and you would give information about the pc in your perspective, anyways love your vids man
Hey Dave! Your reviews are the best. Can't wait for the comparison video. It'll solve all my problems
I got an Alienware 15 with a GTX 965m, skylake I5, 92Wh battery, 16GB DDR4, Amazing 1080p IPS panel with >%90 sRGB, 1TB hdd and 500GB SATA SSD for $550!! Im so excited!
Mike Smith Sounds like a scam to me
Vape Naysh Y'all Its not. I found it on Craigslist. I put pictures on google drive if you want
Hey dude nice video, I really like it when you review cheap gaming laptops it helps me on my pursuit to buy my first gaming laptop and all and all laptop
Awesome video production! Hard work is clearly seen. Thanks for the upload!
Thanks Alot Dave
I Really wanted to see this device review for so long
Keep it up
Been using it for 2 years now and tested LOTS of other laptops since then.
This is probably the most quiet gaming laptop I ever tested so far. All other Laptops really annoy me in terms of Fan Noise.
Very true. This laptop legit stays almost quite under load.
Your doing best on Laptop reviews. Great work
The Lenovo legion y520 was just released this week if you didnt know, so far it looks good.
Liked the little touch when you said "lower the resolution" lol
i binge watch these videos just cause of their quality, Dave's already helped me pick out my next laptop for college (xps 15 i5 1050)
nice review, lookin forward for the comparison with other budget gaming laptops(Lenovo 700, dell 7000).. I need to get one by Friday, hope u have the video by then... thanks
Hey dude great review! Straight to the point and very informative. I've been watching this laptop for a while now; my mind's made up! Thanks alot!
Man I love your intros! Also it's nice to see more Canadian RUclipsrs
Looking forward to the comparison video.
Typo at 0:25 "I5-7700HQ" looks good but that one doesn't exist
Great video Dave keep doing great content!
Thank you dave if you gonna do the 3 gaming laptop comparison video!!
I was waiting for your review on this one! Thank you!
