I don't like the use of plastic in some critical areas. The chin under the screen is plastic and when the snaps fail it pushes at the screen. Mine is dislodged and I wish they used metal in the chin band and made it sturdy as the screen rests upon it. I wouldn't buy a Samsung laptop again ever.

Nice review and wholeheartedly agree with the 8GB RAM comment. Had been waiting for this when it was announced, and would have bought it right away since it ticks all the box (small footprint, lightweight, pen with silo, long battery life, good number of ports), except for the 8GB RAM. 16GB is required for me. Unfortunately the 16GB version is not sold here.

This looks good but has been made like a cheap laptop with plastic used extensively here and there. Samsung has a bad after sale support and given the fact that this isn't exactly cheap, there is no justification of the creaky poor build and cutting at critical areas which handle high stress.

@@zane9964 RAM is hardware. It has nothing to do with the OS it runs on. If anything Android utilizes RAM more efficiently than Windows. Besides, I run Linux - which is way more resource efficient than Windows - on all my hardware and I still like to have more than 8gb in everything even though I could get by with as low as 4gb in some instances. (For example, my ThinkPad X230 has 12Gb of Ram instead of the 8 that it came with. I also have 16Gb of Ram in my ThinkPad T480 even though I hardly ever use that much on that particular machine. My desktop however, has 16Gb but I could use an extra 16Gb next time I get the money).

It's called the Flex, why don't you flex that hinge more! I would really love to see more views of the actual hardware, the folding hinge, the keyboard and edges - you know a user's perspective handling the object. All see is a blue rectangle for the first long introduction, then 3 seconds showing the keyboard briefly. We don't really get to see the keyboard until about 8 minutes into this video. You have a lot to talk about and that's great, I just would like to get more visuals while you do that. Also it is VERY cool that you can take the back cover off this unit and get to the battery and stuff. My Surface Pro is a great big downer with not being able to replace the battery or SSD without practically destroying the thing with all the glue etc. Thank you Samsung for not going that route. Also massive battery life . . . with a Core i7 and built in stylus - this thing is very impressive.

Actually compared to the Mobile studio pro it probably has a significantly smaller footprint. My 13” mobile studio pro is wider than my 16” MacBook Pro. So if you don’t need to plug it into other computers like I do, this is a very good alternative. And she is right, the common off the shelf EMR Wacom licenses out is pretty much as good as the higher end ones in the Cintiq’s and you can buy a bigger Spen from the tablet range and works fine. Or the Wacom One pen will work too.

I highly doubt about the marketed 19 hours because most of them don’t even reach half of those values in real-life use. Even if they do, they will deteriorate pretty quickly. It’s interesting how every company claims unreal battery life on their laptops while Apple always stays humble on their Macs marketing claims with only 10 hours yet very accurate.

Everyone knows that just like Apple's Retina display. Qled is just better than any type of LCD now. Qled color gamut and contrast rivals some of the best Oleds with higher peak brightness while being significantly power efficient due to the Quantum dot tech.

New product called Galaxy Book Flex α is out in S. Korea on May, and its 15-inch model has 2 Sodimm and 2 SSD slots so that you can add more RAM and SSD. The CPU of Flex alpha is cometlake rather than icelake, but this device still has S-pen. I think this model is great option for users want more RAM and SSD.

Love her videos. She is so down to earth and knowledgeable. This looks like a great device. Love the blue, but other videos have shown that it is one of the worst finger print magnets out there. You'll be cleaning that beautiful blue every few minutes. Also, not having the MX GPU available in the US is a bummer, as well as the 8gb ram. Finally, would have been a killer if they used that huge bottom bezel for a 16x10 aspect ratio. Oh well, maybe next version. Display is stunning. Wish she would have played the audio so people could judge for themselves if they like the audio. I heard it doesn't get quite as loud as some hoped, but still sound good. Anyway, it was still a great video as usual.
