I envy him and his life like no other. His adventures in the probably most beautiful country in the world and one of the last truly wild places experienced during a unique time that will never come back. And he had it all; family, success and fame all while he was doing what he loved the most, fishing and expedition adventures along stunning nature and wildlife...what more can a man ask for. Rest in peace Malcolm, you lived one of the best lives possible on earth. Im glad this is on film, so i can atleast imagine how it must have been then.

100%! His shows were educational and interesting. These days the popular channels are catch and cook and flogging merch. 🙁

After watching Malcolm when i was a young fella living in Perth WA, I was always amazed about his adventures! I had the pleasure of moving to Derby about 8 years ago and I'm happy to say I got myself a boat and now the buccaneer archipelago is my back yard! we have spent many trips exploring Montgomery reef, raft point, doubtful bay and many other amazing places!

Macolm's independence, simplicity and work improvisation ability in any situation made me think of my father and i called him. Malcolm is a model for any man.

Greatest Adventure alrighty , Aussie blokes likes of Mike and his teammates....got to see the outdoors of life in its natural environment. Yes indeed great fishing too, know what to release back and to take for a delicious feed. Thankful for Mike he's a legend in touch with the earth and ocean and the locals native Aboriginals. R. I . This is so much better than the ADHD “influencers” who try to replicate Malcom. He done this to show us what’s in our own backyard, not for RUclips likes.

I think I'd use 30 pound test braided line, on a good salt water real and a good pole. But I'd love to fish there.
