- The Scumbria crew heads to three maples farm in New Hampshire for the opening days of rifle deer season. They are hoping to take advantage of the first few days of the season when the harvest of does is permitted. In a twist of fate not a single doe is seen by the group, then week-end turns bucks only. Ethan finally gets a shot at a deer and Andrew harvest a buck of a lifetime

As far as me (matt) not getting a deer, never thought it would happpen but i'm at that point where actually shooting something isn't as important as enjoying the hunt. i guess i've mellowed over the years. in my 20's i remember older guys in camp with the same attitude and i finally understand it. however, when it comes to fishing i still have to catch somethin or I'm very unhappy. fishing ...and shooting turkeys . and ducks . maybe not as mellow as i thought

i wish i had you confidence, a buck that size is tough to beat. doesn't seem that big compared to some of the "internet" bucks, but for the areas we hunt it's a trophy.
I am moving to NH. Driving up from Miami tomorrow. Looking for people who like to camp / hunt / be outdoors. Where do you suggest I look to find people I can meet and hopefully befriend and have good times with?
northeast is a tough nut to crack. not as outwardly friendly as southern folk. Church is always a good starting place to meet people. you'll find people, but it takes more time in the northeast.
