    Just theory as I have not heard from Aputure but I'm thinking that the 1200x v 1000c difference might be down to a decision to keep the overall chip size the same so that modifiers are interchangeable. Perhaps a simplified emitter pattern on the BLAIR versus BLAIR-CG chip meant they could pack more emitters/wattage onto the same surface area for the 1200x

    Does the fresnel fit with the light in the same case?

      I believe that’s the idea, Mitch has alluded to that before, we didn’t try it though as we didn’t want to scratch anything accidentally.

      Yes it does. As long as the barn doors are not on the CF12, the foam can be rearranged inside the case to make the 1000c with the CF12 mounted fit inside of the case.
