Thank you for this help that I have been looking for for a very long time! I even called the Samsung service in France, and they couldn't (or didn't want to?) help me, of course, because it doesn't suit their business of forced ads. I was very disappointed that my Samsung TV for which I paid a lot of money did not allow me to configure the home screen. The worst thing is that I didn't want to do it for the sake of comfort, but because when I turned on my TV, the first proposals on the bottom strip showed adult movies or clips with shocking content for children ! When my children turned on the TV, the first thing they see were screenshots of adult films, and I emphasize that this content is not based on my previous use of my TV, because I do not watch than news and football on my TV. Samsung forced my family to see horrible ads for two years until I discovered your video. Thank you very much ! I changed the country in the settings, and it hid the unwanted content. I lost access to some app, but that's okay. In any case, if Samsung does not change this way of doing things, my next TV will certainly be from another brand.
Samsung technicians told me it couldn't be done!! (they were muppets anyway) You proved them wrong. TV region changed all thanks to you.

Thank you so much, I had to reset my TV and lost TV Plus and it was set to Canada but now that I got it back and changed it to the USA I have loads more channels

I wanted to watch UK tv from outside the UK, I couldn't get my fire tv stick to play some of the UK catchup apps.... but thanks to your help I managed to do it... with a SmartDNSProxy too of course!

Did you check if the app Steam link is available on QN90B? I couldn't find it on my QN90B.

Thank you so much. I just wanted to download the fucking Steam Link app but apparently living up here in Canada, 1h30 away from the US border, is too remote a place to get such an app. Really saved my bacon.
I used my smart tv remote and the option to change region does not show up no matter how many times I try. Is there another option please

Thanks to this tutorial, I was able to switch my TV to other regions easily but have not been able to watch TV Plus in other regions, which is my main objective. TV Plus icon shows up front and center but when I select the icon it just plays a TV Plus commercial spot and when I select the "Watch Now" button I get a message that says "The selected content is on the Samsung TV Plus service, which has been deleted. Re-install the service to watch the content."
And then the TV Plus icon is no longer there, until I go through the entire region-switching exercise again. Any work-arounds for this obstacle or clues on how to re-download TV Plus and get it to work would be greatly appreciated.
On my part, I am able to see the TV plus app itself.
Is there any way to keep apps from a country to another, example, Disney Plus from Italy with HBOGO from Romania, both are from different countries, switching from a country to another app will dissappear. I have Hbogo only with Romania, but no Disney and Disney with Italy , but no Hbo go. Is there anything I can do to keep both? Thanks.

There is no more HBO GO at all.
so u changed to US region? it seems like our Malaysia region has so few apps (no steamlink and etc). but do you have any issues afterwards when logging in your accounts (youtube, twitch, netflix etc)? like unable to connect or etc?
Does this resets all your video presets in the settings as well? took me long time to adjust every input to my liking.
Just some info. If you enter service menu you can enable samsung tv plus to get more channel. I'm from Malaysia too

@@adedokunsheriff8743 you need to press Mute+119+enter when tv is open then after hotel option shown press 1234. You will entered to service menu. Press option then local set. Before change make sure it have same code example ED_M Asia change to ED_MAL. Then look at MRT option if Samsung TV Plus status is ON. If not change to other local set.
*Make sure you change your tv region first
**Not work if you ON directly from MRT option

Can we do this as many times as we wish, or is it necessary to create a new account each time as our initial country/region is associated with our first created account ?!? Remark: my internal satellite receiver stopped working when I changed my country from New Zealand to Tunisia. Now I want to fix this by going back to New Zealand.
Do you lose your currently installed apps after you change the region? Also how do you add a region? If you want to keep both
Yes you'll lose the app if you change region but can easily download them back

I've tried using the commando to change the region but it's not displaying anything. I have a Samsung QLED 60
This is what I just got and it isnt working sigh.
You can change region without going through reset hub. Just go to setting>terms & privacy>privacy choices or there's shortcut of privacy choices above home tab in smart hub menu after pressing home button. Then follow instructions in this video of what button sequence to push. Good luck

Click home button>privacy choices>terms & conditions of privacy choices>(4 step sequence of remote control button press as shown in this tutorial video)>(region choices menu will pop-up on screen)

it says that smarthub is geo-locked and when i press setup it says that not every functions works on your region so it didnt help me, and also all of my applications dissapeared and i cant get them back🙄
