In "Winter Steam Spectacular" you'll visit 5 steam railroads and see
some special winter operations!

The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad: Travel to colorful
Colorado to one of the premier steam railroads in the USA. See 2-8-2
#473 pulling the regular winter passenger train, as well as in charge of a
special freight run up the Animas Canyon in the dead of winter!
Heber Valley Railroad: Visit the stunning Wasatch Mountains of Utah
where 2-8-0 #618 blasts through a winter paradise with mountain
peaks and placid lakes.
New Hope & Ivyland: Watch as 2-8-0 #40 pulls a mixed train with
clear blue skies and lots of billowing steam.
Nevada Northern: Enjoy winter action with 4-6-0 #40 and 2-8-0 #93
on both freight and passenger trains, including a doubleheaded freight
train with BOTH locomotives pulling!
Western Maryland Scenic: Fantastic steam action as 2-8-0 #734
demonstrates what a pusher locomotive was all about!. See 734
shoving hard on the rear of a freight train in the mountains of Western
Maryland!

This was one of my favorites to watch when growing up. I sadly lost the original dvd I had but I bought myself a new one, and its still great as ever.

Anytime it’s cool enough to turn the steam into white water vapor works for me and especially steam at night. Nothing beats steam at night for me.
I really love that watched it when I was a kid. I also got a copy at my home.
I remembered steam in the seasons (summer, fall, winter, spring). Used to have all of them on DVD until some were too scratched and others lost

D&RGW 473 = Still in operation (Now a Oil Burning narrow gauge steam locomotive).
Union Pacific 618 = Out of service undergoing restoration.
New Hope & Ivyland #40 = Still in operation.
Nevada Northern 40 = Undergoing a overhaul that is expected to be complete sometime next year.
Nevada Northern 93 = Still in operation.
Western Maryland 734 = Out of service.
