I noticed this at least after gaining +5% magic gain and running treasure hunter Paragon tree...I am now gaining leg drops from blue elites where I did not previously. Also drops from Ancient elites seem better, and I am definitely seeing more usable materials from open world farming. I am FtP/budget player, and only do PvE content and usually farm solo. So yes.. I feel it makes a big difference now.👍 Farming before was getting too time consuming.
he didn't mean it like that, but I see what you mean. I think he meant try hard in a more positive way, and yes. f2p can be more talented, but there are hard grinders that just happen to pay too, and those are the one you see kick butt
Try hards are people who play the game regardless of spending tier. For the first 2 months of this game I'd spend 8-12 hours playing. I don't care how much you spend, it all comes down to playing time.
I think try hard is the stupidest term ever. Who doesn't want to try hard to win? I get people want to relax but if you do then don't play a competitive game.
To sum it up: Magic find % increases the frequency of legendaries you get when farming in the open world. The higher you have, the more you get. Couple this with Treasure Hunter paragon and boom. Triple - triple legendaries are purely Rng but if you do get a ton of legendaries, you get more chances of landing then. Thanks for explaining it to everyone. Stay awesome, brother! Cheers! 😎
This is exactly what I was talking about from the start. I'd be grinding for 5 hours and only come up with five legendaries while someone with magic fine gets like 30. I was also considering ranking up to Star gems instead of having a full arsenal five star gems that are low ranking
The way i have done my gem upgrade since i got a wiz. Have a 1* at rank, fervemt fang at 5* and bloody reach at 5*. I gotten and use 5* of low quality but been focusing upgrading the 2* first since it will take like forever to get them to rank 10. 5* also need copies of them to rank up so it will be harder to get them vs the craftable ones
Does magic find work both outdoors and in dungeons? I'm wondering during the hungering moon events whether to use the magic find buff while doing my bounties or while doing dungeons?
I was complaining of how I couldn’t get any triple stats equipment. But after upgrading from 0% to 50% MF I already have 6 Triple stats equipment in just 4 days. On the other hand I don’t feel any increase in drop rate, just the quality of drops.
Does your drop rate affected by other party members? Because one time we party with a dolphin with 90%magic find, and i got 30+ legendary that day, never happened again when i played with low magic find players.
My server has been talking about this for a while because the npcs on the rite practice a so dumb, and the benefit of getting to know members play style.
You probably won't see this but im currently 800 res and for my summon build i use 2 grim reapers with guided by maggots and its by far the best f2p summon build in my opinion, I only have 2 out of 6 Shepard but if you see this comment I reccomend you try it for farming since you are 3k res ur reapers will hit insanely hard
The difference resonance makes is seriously dumb, cr is already a stretch because it's harder and harder with every difficulty to get to the next breakpoint as f2p while p2w farms freely but resonance is on another level, I have 3x8% badges, above average shadow rank, been playing since release, have above average gems and heavy spenders still one shot me.
I think as this started out as a mobile game - the P2W mechanics are intentional - so it is gonna be largely attracting those willing to fork out money (sufficient to buy high end gaming desktops) to get their 'magic find', their 'damage', their 'wings', etc. But hey, it worked for them, so good for them.
Nice vid! So Magic find increases legendary drop rates and Treasure find increases drop rate of mats needed for upgrades. And set piece drop rate/quality are static regardless.....if I understood correctly.
That's essentially what I've noticed through my testing! I will say that Treasure Hunter and Magic Find work well TOGETHER, because one will increase the amount you find while the other will increase the quality. So a very nice combo.
Even tho i have so much hate for this game, because of what it's normalizing, It's hard to take a dump on you. You are very honest and seem to be a good person. Please don't promote this gambling game, it affects kids in bad ways and enriches a greedy bunch aka blizzard
May not be the case, but this video sounds like this video is directly addressing my comment in one of your recent videos. May not be the case, but thanks either way! I enjoyed the video.
All magic find is and it's the same in any diablo game magic find is to find set items and/or legendaries and the higher the percentage of magic find more chances of set items and legendaries to drop
Umm more legendaries = more trips......so mf = better stats. Do better. Also more greens drop in dungeons as they count as legendaries. It's not listed but running with friends I'm getting greens every other run and they are getting one every 5-10. It's not listed for dungeons like that but does work. Tried and true.
only weak players pay to get stronger.. that's how i see it. and don't encourage people to pay and get stronger. this game is unrewarding as Wyatt's face. totally not worth it. enjoy it as an F2P.

From other research it suggests magic find increase quality not drop rate.

Can you also explain the function of Treasure Find in the Treasure Hunter Paragon? It doesn't seem to make any difference that much at all...
Immagine a world where a f2p player who grinds for his gains is called tryhard and someone who pays for there gains isn't.

how about a set item?
Any changes you would make in a new video since 6 months ago?

Interesting question. @veiled I volunteer as tribute to test this with ya haha
Interesting. That difference is too great - maybe, you are right... maybe..
How and what are the many different ways to increase magic find or atleast a few I'm only at 25% plvl 206 CR 4600, Res 1010
Hey Veiled I just thought of this....They should add a BG mode that is unrank so clan members could play against each other
My server has been talking about this for a while because the npcs on the rite practice a so dumb, and the benefit of getting to know members play style.
Great info! What quality and ranks are your gems to get 3k reso? Thanks!

Why compete against someone who spends money?
Love your explanation on magic find!
Can you do the orange mobs spot?
How much did you spend?
So Magic find is like that thing in Fractured Planes where you spend coin to upgrade your rank to increase % of better gear drops.
Hey so is the max MF possible 90% (from gems) or does it go higher at rank 10?
For now, max is at 90%MF even if you have a rank 10 5☆ Gem, it's still at 90%..
Cheers!
Nice vid!

Everyone hates whales until we get 30 second ad breaks before a dungeon run…
Man at this point I just miss simple subscription based online experience.
I have zero issues with people who spend money - respect they worked hard, and help free to play players
Besides level 5 gems, what are some of the best ways to increase magic find?
There is no other way.
Any 2 ⭐ gem will provide 10% magic find @ lvl 5.
My DH is 1700 reso and cr4700 and I got like 90k-112k critical hit damage with the Grace set
At this point of game, I am expecting you to give some data.
Need your parangon talents plz
Yeah, been suprise one shot a few times lol

Para269 DH damage 6100 CR 4700 h5. Spent $18 so far for 2 battle passes. Happy with my result lol
What gear is to get 90 mf?
Holy insane player.

I did make this because a few of you asked in the comments, haha!
Magic find just increasing the chance...not a guarantee...it will drop...but nobody knows if it's white, blue or legendary items...
are u encourage us to spend?
In the beginning of the video he literally says he is going to address what exactly a spender gets with improved magic find…
@@YAMI-ld9mk so yes then?
If you actually watched his videos, you’d see the one he just did with TriggerHappyJon about not spending.
Hes a diablo immo agent. Wyeth minions 🤣☠️
And plus magic find is basically the same on d2 D3 and diablo immortal so there's nothing new or different about magic find at all 😁
Magic find is just another pay to win mechanism of the game. I think you put it well you just didn’t outright say it though.
That’s not true 5 star gems don’t give magic find till lvl 5 but lower gems give 10% at lvl 3
I run 4 two-stars and 2 one-stars to level 5 with 55% Magic find for ages. You don’t really have to spend much to grab decent MF. I
All magic find is and it's the same in any diablo game magic find is to find set items and/or legendaries and the higher the percentage of magic find more chances of set items and legendaries to drop
Tbh my friends who has lower MF(10%) got a lot more lego and set items drop than me( 90%mf), and much higher attributes. I don't know why.
7799 dam 225p 1700 res

why have you deliberatly chosen to not upgrade your gear to lvl 16? The new bonus comes free. You can reforge it whenever you want.
Cause he's lvl 211. Tier 16 is unlock at 220

WRONG. Magic find lets you get more GEAR. NOT triple stat, complete crap.
