- Learn to crochet a raglan style sweater with wide sleeves. You can make this in any size following this tutorial and customize it to your own measurements.
To make this, I am using 3 different colours of weight 3 yarn and a 5.5mm hook. You can use any yarn & hook combination that you like!

Thank you for explaining so well. I am a new subscriber. Will be trying this one.
How many yarn ball you have used??
Very pretty
Thank you! 💜
My Ragland doesn’t lay flat like this hahaha! 😅😅😅 I feel I may have done something wrong
Do you have this pattern for sale ? I think it will be more easy to follow if I have both the pattern and this video
Should the back stitches be the same amount as the front? Or should it always be one less stitch. I feel like I’m messing up the stitches.
Amazing pattern!! I want to ask that, i have a pear body shape and i want to have a longer raglan, how can i make this wider when it comes to my tights? where should i increase it? from each stitch or from corner stitches? thanks for your help
I made some sweaters and dresses for my self and I would add a few stiches every 2 or 3 raws placing them in even-ish around, like every 20ty stiches or so. It's crucial to try it on after every increase. Have a nice crochet time!
But how do we make the body bigger … if I take the sleeve off when I’m done the yoke .. the body will be crazy tight
Can You Please Explain Your Placement Of The Stitch Markers Because seven With The Math Something Is Off When I Go To Place My Markers
I’m making the sweater rn, I think I put my stitch marker to the left 12 chains in and then the amount for sleeves and the front of the sweater and then I put a stitch marker and left 12 chains to the left ( at the end of my chain) so when I joined the circle it made 24 so that it would form the back. I hope this made sense
It's going to be 12 chains down from the left to right then you will count down to 16, then 25. Then 16 again and 12 from the right to left. I hope that makes sense!
How many balls of yarn did you use?
^^
Super👍 Danke ❣️
Is this a secure way to change colours? I’m always worried it’s going to unravel at the end😅
you will have to weave them in at the end
Do I have to do hdc rows or can I just do the extended double crochet for the whole project? :) 💜
You can do extended double crochet for the whole project if you like :)
4:07 what kind of hook was that ? That was cool
Tysm! ❤
How much yarn did you use for this project ?
Hi Sam, I don't know if I missed it but you didn't say how much yarn we would need. I'm going to start with what I have and hope for the best!!
How many yarn balls did you use
My only question is at the end of the video when you are doing the sleeves, are you increasing as you go down to the cuff to create a bell sleeve or is it the same stitches all the way down down creating that on its own?
I didn’t do any increases for the sleeve. It just works up as a bell sleeve because of the shape of the top of the raglan :)
What brand of hook are you using?
Top👍
Can someone explain the part where she puts in the stitch markers?😢
So she divided the backs 30% by 2 and put them on each end of her stitch thread or whatever ev.
So depending on your stitch count. You would count half of the back (pin), count full shoulder (pin), front counts (pin) , shoulder counts (pin), and then the rest of the stitches should equal the amount for the back.
/--/---/----/---/--/
1/2B S. Front. S. 1/2B
@@denisemcdonald3051 THANK YOU, i was struggling so much to understand this but your explanation made perfect sense! ❤
@@denisemcdonald3051 THANK YOU!!!!!! youre an angel
Genial!👏🧶
i love this pattern but why is mine beginning to ruffle as i move down the sweater ?? help pleaseee
I am no expert but it is probably happening cuz u are adding extra stitches. The number of stiches should remain the same after u start the body portion. Count ur stitches and make sure there are no extra.
But how do I do it if I have a 100 stitches with like the stitches markers
instead of 16 you make 20, and instead of 23 you make 30
how many chais toknit for21years old slim girl
If you do your increases in the corners… you won’t have an amateur line up the back
